244: Winter is all around!

It's cold, greyish and we already had snow last weekend and since this morning it has been snowing again. But sadly this time it's all gone already. It just doesn't stay...

Yesterday one of my GF's came over, but first we went to the print shop together... I already went to one to see how much it was to print the birth announcements for my neighbours, but it was waaay too much. So we went to another place and guess what. he printed, cut and folded them right there and then! And for 20 euros cheaper too...This is the front and it's a double card. The inside contains the writing. Oh yeah daddy found this cute dutch poem...wanna see?? f.l.t.r Dina, Ihab & Nizar When we got back we chatted, watched photos from our vacation to the USA and played the WII for a bit. It was fun and we should do that more often :)

Then I don't have a lot of news to share, other then show you my pages from this weekend! :) Uhm what am I saying here... I shopped BIG time, again!!!!!!! The black Friday sales were awsome and bought tons of cute stuff. Will try to show you some later one, but kind of in a hurry. We're going over to my parents house in half an hour and still need to shower! LOL My brother is going to make chicken and we're going to play a little poker!

Now for my pages... First a RAK for Pride, made with a stunning new kit by Createwings designs, called: Winter flight. I saw it and just had to have it...especially since it was 40% off! Then a page made with a new kit from taylorMade, called: Novmber rain... Look at this cute little one, Ihab! Yeah, the newborn baby son of our neighbours...so cute, isn't he? :)

I made two more pages wich are in my gallery here and a two other pages, but can't show them yet... A page with the new after 5 colab kit, a new kit by Kasia designs...

243: A midnight call!

Ok, like I told you in my last post I was going to check up on my neighbour who is due Dec. 1st... I took the kids shopping on Tuesday and told them if they ever needed anything I'm here for them. They don't have any family in the area and well they are such a sweet family... I love to help them out where ever I can! That's just me! :)

Well last night I went over to my parents and had diner there. I supposed to had a indoor soccer game, but felt real crappy. Throwing up and my stomach made the weirdest noises and so I went home instead and went to bed. I was in there at 8 PM and didn't sleep untill 12... I was about to turn around in my sleep and then....

My phone rang at 1.00 AM!!! It was my neighbour telling me his wife went in to labor and asked if I could take care of the other two kids. And so I went down and babysitted the kids. I fell a sleep on their couch at 2.15 AM. It was warm and comfy untill I heard the door. He was back at 6 AM, telling me their son was born. It was a rough delivery and she needs to stay at the hospital till Friday...

So as you can read I had a pretty rough night. I do feel a little better as I went back to bed at 7 and slept till 11 AM. Now here I am... Just had breakfast and really hope it stays in! LOL Seems like my stomach has calmed down though..so we'll see what happens next! :)

Maybe I'm going over to the hospital later today...Since they asked me if I could make the birth announcement. Uhm yeah, of course I do!!! Already made a sample and going to add a photo of all three of the kids with a little poem on it. Going over to the print shoppe later on to see if they can print the announcements for me! :) So awsome, since this is my first official birth announcement! So cool!

242: Has it been THAT long!!

Ok, I know I'm so ashamed here!! hehe. Let me start from the beginning and well there will be tons of pages included throughout my post (wich will probably look a bit messy, but will do for now! LOL). remember to click the images to take you to my LO in my DST gallery to see full credits... O yeah, have I told you recently I loooove me new PC!! LOLOLOL Ok two weeks ago..the championship party and day out was awsome and we truly had a blast. I have to say that one of the activities we did caused a severe arm muscle pain for the upcoming 4 DAYS!!! LOL, but well it was great...Last week I worked 4 days and had a lot of things to do and visit at night. On wendesday I had the first of two courses to become a trainee companion and it was fun...at night I had soccer practice and injured my knee. It's still blue.purple.greenish and well bruised! Just glad it wasn't anything serious cause well I fell HARD!!!!  Friday at 16.30 our weekend started a little earlier the normal and headed to Eindhoven in my guy's new car. We stayed at a hotel for the weekend and really it was full relaxation!!!! Friday night we had dinner in the hotel restaurant and just chilled at the room. On Saturday we had a full yummy breakfast and then headed to the city. Drove around for a bit and went shopping...Bought some cute shirts and a scarf. Went back to the hotel had a drink, took a bath and then went to the casino. No luck this time, but we did had a nice dinner there and fun playing the machines! :) On Sunday we went home after breakfast and packing up our stuff. Chilled here for a bit and unpacked our suitcage and went to my brothers house. We played on the WII and had dinner there. After diner we rushed into our jackets and.... Played in the SNOW!!!!! Uhm yeah it snowed, can you believe that. Well it had been snowing lightly for a day or two, but this was awsome. There was at least 6 cm of snow. We walked outside for 2 hours or so and it was fun. can you tell Kiki loved it too?? (look up!) LOL, funky!! Took some fun photos too...

So that brings me to...today! It's my weekly day off and well we both slept in till 10ish, since my guy had the morning off of work. Made a big to do list of things I need to to today....

• Type lots of stuff for work (done!)
• upload 2 albums for Micheline's store (done!)
• order photo prints (done!)
• scrap (half done, 2 more pages to go!)
• get grocery's for diner
• get fish food and plants
• clean the fish tank
• check on my neighbour and see how she's doing (she's due next week and having a pretty rough time, maybe take the other two kids somewhere for a bit)
• stop by the printing office, to ask how much cards will cost (going to make the baby announcement for my neighbours)
• and well start diner....

But first I have to take a shower and put the laundry in the dryer...so yeah I'm off for now. Will see you all soonish! Hugs!

241: FUN filled weekend!!!

Ok peeps, this weekend is going to be great starting tomorrow. Tomorrow we're having our twice a year study-day with work. We usually stay at our own location but this time we're going somwhere with a bus... So curious to know what we're going to do, but I'm sure it's going to be fun! Then after we get back I'm going home in one of my sweet colleagues and stay with her for a bit. Then we're going over bowling and eating at this new place in Houten with all the colleagues from our location, so looking forward to that!

Oh yeah tomorrow my guy is getting... A NEW car from his boss. How awsome is that?? he's been looking forward to this for weeks and tomorrow is the big day for him, wanna see??

I love this car and can't wait to drive it for the first time...sadly it's not going to be tomorrow since I'll be gone all day... But wait not even saturday cause will be gone all day too, wanna know what I'm up to on Saturday???

Well this is going to be another excited, fabulous day. We're going on a team outing with the girls from Softball and it's going to be awsome for sure. Since I'm the team captain I planned a full afternoon of adventures games and stuff like that at VVC Adventures. I so can't wait... Then at diner time we've ordered some indonesian food and will eat at our club. After changing the party is going to start... what party you ask?? Well our BIG championship party of course!!!! We're going to party, dance and well sing KARAOKE!!!! I'm sure it's going ot be hilarious!!!! LOL

So yeah then there's just Sunday left...Guess what I'm going to do?? Well my guy and I are going to drive his new car and just relax!!!

I told you on Tuesday that I made some pages with new goodies.. First the kit DYP designs RAK-ed me, here's my page: Then Holly designs is going to release a new kit at Shabby pickle tomorrow called: 'Pixiedust'. really this kit is gorgeous and well one you just gotta have!!! Then I've also made two pages for challenge at After5designs, I just couldn't resist playing when knowing you'll get stamps for each challenge and when you got a full card you'll get a 5$ GC if I''m correct! here are my entries for the challenges... I'm still sooooo happy with my new PC and can scrap & sit here all day, but duty calls... Need to put the washing machine on and get some fresh bread from the backery and well I might scrap some more when I get back! LOL Have a fab day, Hugs!

240: So it says I'm 29!!!!

That's three years too old! LOL  Ok I just did the WII fitness test with WII sports and well it's not too bad concidering I was 48!!! last week! LOL. This things is so funny and really it helps better your body conditions and I love it. That's why I really can't wait to get the WII FIT board in two weeks...uhm yeah, when my guys paycheck gets here!! LOL. I heard so many great things about and really helps you shape your body. Silly though that this mechanical thing can help you look more pretty!! hihi. I'm just done doing the test and also worked on my baseball, golf & tennis skill levels. My guy plays a lot when I'm sitting here scrapping and always brags about his skill level. Well I decided to start working on that too, without telling him, so one day I'll challenge him to play and I'll knock him down!! LOL

Now on to some scrapping... I made two pages this morning and two last night. Two of them I can't show yet, since it's with a new kit! Holly (SPD) created this beautiful new kit and well I can keep scrapping with it. Made two so far...

Here are the other two I can show... First one made with Jofia's new ' first christmas' mini kit and also some older goodies from her. The 2nd one is made with a Jofia & Milla colab called: 'Wintersong' I've got two other kits I would like to scrap with today... First is New life dreams'  pretty kit: ' All thinsg grow with love' . Then I got RAK-ed this morning by DYP designs...she created a new kit called: ' grannie´s christmas' it's beautiful and can't wait to play with it after I found the perfect photo in my stash!

But for now, I've got to take a shower and get some grocery's... I can't just sit here all day, can I?? Uhm yes I can, but won't.. LOL I promissed my mom to cook a Moroccan diner for tomorrow night, since we always eat at my mom's  on Wednesday since I got indoor soccer practice and well this time I told I would make us diner. 239: I'm on a roll!!!

Ok probably because my new PC is so freakin'  fast, it is soooo awsome and can't scrap without it anymore. This new PC really made everything good, especially those old frustrations I used to have while scrapping...it all went sooo slow! This thing rocks!!

So yeah of course the first thing I did was install my scrapping programs and started right away! Really I mae 9 pages since Tuesday and I can't believe it. I can't even keep up posting all of them...so you won't find all of them in my galleries yet. I haven't did anything special yet other then scrapping with a template....

Amanda Resende created these awsome new templates called: Almost ready 1 & 2. And well I was a littel scared at first cause with my old pc it would take like 10 mins. to even load this PSD file. Well guess what, it was there with one simple 2 secs. click!!!!! I'm impressed...the whole page took me like 20 mins. instead of the old 4 hours or something!!!! So you might understand why I'm so thrilled to have my new PC!!!! hihi

Then I created several pages with new goodies form the shabby pickle designers, check it out:I made this last page for a new scraplift challenge I'm hosting at Weeds & Wildflowers this upcoming monday, made with several WnW goodies...  So what do you think?? I LIKE it!!! :)

This weekend is going to be fun-filled...Tonight our little cousin Robin (11) & our little 2nd cousin Sidney (10) are coming over to sleep here tonight. We're going to have a fun mario party challenge with the 4 of us. In the morning we're going over to the ' Ouwehands' Zoo in Rhenen. So it's going to be a fun weekend, but now... I've got to put the clean clothes in the dryer and start another wash. Also got to clean a little and make sure the beds are ready for when the kids come over! 238: Woot, Woot!!!

Ok I think I posted a new thread with the same title here at several sites...so again: Woot, Woot!!!! My NEW PC is HERE!!!! Really this day couldn't get any better and I'm so freakin'  happy!!!!! My guy told me I was getting a new one months ago...oh make that 2 years in fact! LOL. Then when I got this email from Dell telling me it was coming today I told my guy we should get our computer desk ready. Well guess what he said: well sweetie, what about wait till I get home from work to install it for you, cause well it's kind of HARD!! Uhm no way dude, think I'm going to wait till six!!! uh uh! I did, on my own and well it works fine. Plugged in all plugs in the right place even the internet cable! Installed the internet connection, installed ACDSee;s photo manager pro 2.5 and photo editor 2008...and wel everything else. Transferred my bookmarks and well here I am. Even got windows live writer to work. Like as if... I can DO this without his help...Go independent women!!!! Yeah for us! :)

So yeah here I am, desperate to get scrapping and see how fast I can get my first LO done on this freakin'  speedy thing! :) Aren't you all happy for me????? hehe

237: Shop till ya drop!

Oh yeah ladies, happy belated digital scrapbooking day!!! Did you have fun? Well I know I did and spend lots of money yesterday!!! No more shopping for me this month, it's all gone! But really I love every single thing I bought, wanted to start scrapping right away last night, but couldn't find my mojo anywhere. Well I did found it this morning...pffew!

Before I'm going to show you my pages from last week and this morning, let me show what I bought...so beware for the BIG enabler!!!!!

From 'we are storytellers' some goodies for just $1 and fab kit I wanted to have for ages wich was marked down 50%...And if you hurry they might still be on sale!

My next stop was... Cat scrap!! I love this store and they also have some talented designers over there. I've been eying this cute kit by Madame Mim for months and couldn't resist. Also got this page overlay set by Favreau designs/ Lynne-Marie. It takes a lot of time using these last ones...but all will be better and faster soon, will tell you more about that later!

On to Shabby Miss jenn...with her sale I just had to get at least one kit. I've seen so many stunning pages with her kits I had to see for myzelf and got her newest! Hurry while it's still 38% off!

Then some wordarts....First from paislee press, these dates for just $1, special DSD price!!. Her stuff truly rocks!! And also got Natali's new wordart, she's rocking these...with 40% off.

Then After 5 designs... Really I could buy everything here, but my budget...well pp would give up on me eventually! LOL. Check it, this November kit by Amy for special DSD price of $1 with an extra coupon. And well Crissy had this extra discount coupon on her blog and wanted to have this sweet serenity kit...even if it's mainly for the awsome stitches in there :)

And my last stop for this weekend is... Cinnamon designs and Nathy's incredible 50% off sale. I had to get her newest kit 'Happiness'. Still in debate wether to get her leaf jumper collection too...just a few hours left to decide!!! She also had this cute sampler kit on her blog as a DSD freebie called: 'Melon Passion' and hope there will be a collection coming from this too... I love it!

Ok before I'm heading out to do some laundry...since I clearly didn't do ANYTHING around here all day yesterday and just had a lazy, shopping from inside the house, PJ day!!! And to be honest I loved it...but I've really got to get going and take a SHOWER, I'm starting to smell....LOL!!! But first I've got some awsome news!!

On Friday I received and email from DELL... They're going to deliver my brand new PC on Tuesday....yiiihaaaa! Finally, I'm so happy and alrwady started transferring stuff to my EHD's. It rusn on windows vista and really hope it is good...heard sooo many bad things about and people don't like it at all. I'm glad we still have our old windows disc and if vista isn't working I'm going to put my old XP on there! We'll see how that goes... Did I tell you I'm EXCITED!!!!! WOOhoooooooo
