207: Wedding photos!!

Ok people, the wedding was a blast and the photos turned out great! I only edited the ones we took during the shoot so far. Will probably do the rest when we get back from our vacation, as Marjolein doesn't need them yet...but I really wanted to give her a preview and dvd of the ones we took during the shoot.
About our summer vacation...Only 3 MORE DAYS will we leave and so can't wait! :)

I really hope they like the photos too and when I get back from vacation we're going to make the album together. She wants a digital book and well I think it would be better if she's here to help me with that. never done such an album before, so want to make sure that she likes it! :)

Today it's cleaning day over here, need to fault laundry and check out wich clothes I'm going to wear the last three days and what to bring on vacation. I think I've got enough clothes to take with me...Bought a cute dress and shirt yesterday and what else I'll need I'll buy over there! :)

Ok one more thing before I'm going to wrap this up...I still need to announce the winner of my little scrap challenge I had during my party. But well only a 4 people played. 206: Just a Thursday!

Well just...it's been a great day so far...Got up around 9:30, scrapped a page, took a shower and went to the hair dresser. I really wanted to cut my hair before we leave to...***** new wednesday. I wasn't sure what to do, since it would be pretty hot out there and don't want my hair to stick in my neck..kwim? But well I decided to cut it short anyway! hehe....not too short, or else my guy...well have no clue what he would do! LOL Check it out...

It's like 5 cm above my shoulder and shorter at the back. I love it so far, but haven't checked if I can still put it in a little ponytail...but I think I can't! The guy told me that this would look great and just told him to do what he wanted! :) oh yeah, love that kit?? It's called Pop Rock by Holly designs and will be available at her shabby pickle shoppe tomorrow! :)

Julie Bullock also created a lovely new kit...this will also be available in her shabby pickle shoppe tomorrow. Here's the page I made with it this morning! :)

It's Mauro, Karen's little boy...well little...hehe, he is short, but is turning 6 next Saturday. Time really flies heh hun? He's such a sweetie, and well he been to school for 2 years, but he as my big friend at daycare...but then, he'll always be! :)

Tomorrow is the BIG day...my first wedding shoot! I have to admit I'm getting a little nervous and hoping everything will go right. Wich reminds me I have to put recharge my battery's, clean my lenses, make sure I've got everything done and ready. Fill my back, remember to bring extra battery's for my flash. And just hoping I've got enough memory! LOL. The other day my guy and I went out to bought some battery's and also bought a new 4GIG memory card. So that will make 6 GIG's in total. We'll see if that's enough or else I will buy some extra over there! I've got all the shots ready in my head, so really hoping I won't get a black out tomorrow...hehe, that would be bad! But for now, I'm just going to think happy thoughts and I'm sure it will all be OK! :)

So yeah then there are only 6 more days left till we go on summer vacation. Time is really flying by... << somehow I keep saying that! LOL. Think I've did everything I had to do...fill mp3 player with music, burned lots of cd's for the car, finished a QP album for Micheline Martin (wich will be in store on saturday!), arrange a flight insurance, chatted with the neighbours (wich will be taking care of our house) and well I know there's more! So yeah, I'm getting pretty ready. My guy though had been very restless for the past few days and I hope he can find his peace and just put his mind to well...a chill mode! cause really, he is getting me nervous! LOL

So I'll leave it with this today...of to shoppe for a bit and hope I can find a cute dress for the wedding for tomorrow night. Cause I'm not going to walk in my jeans all day! :) Have a fab day ladies! Hugs,

205: my weekend & photos!

Yes peeps, it's weekend again! Only 11 more days till we leave to...where ever we're going this summer! LOL. It's getting close and getting more excited and even a little more nervous each day. But today I feel total relaxation and well it just feels good!

Today my guy and me have planned to get some last things...cause I still need some extra memory cards for my camera for the wedding on Friday and then they're always good to have! :) This afternoon we haven't planned much. After diner we've got a surprise party and I'm sure it's going to be lots of fun! But luckily they have an TV over there, since tonight our dutch soccer team is playing a game for the quarter finales of the european soccer championship and just have to see that! :) So any good vibes for our team would be awsome!!

Then on to my photo shoot from last Thursday. It was my first official kids photo shoot and it was awsome. The little guy Finn, was in a good mood and played along....well most of the time he did! :) He's a fun, bright, cheery little boy and he did great! I had never met him before so I gave him a little time to adjust...me being around with my camera in his face!:) I really loved how they turned out and hope his mother does too. She signed a paper for me, so that I can use his photos for my portfolio and well to post them here too :) Here we go...some of these were edited in Lightroom or/and ACDSee's photo manager pro 2

And well you know me...I had to scrap one of the photos, wich I will be adding to her disc also! :)

So would really love to know what you think about these photos and any tips, trics or things that could make the photos even better, I'm here to listen and learn! :)

204: lots of pages...& big reveal!

Ok, during my party and the last few nights I had some time to scrap...finally!! There are a lot of other things I need to finish before we're going on summer vacation in 2 weeks. Today I'm going to reveal where we're going and why I'm revealing it now! LOL. So first on to my pages...

Then the newly wedded couple Marrigje & Bart, took this photo on their wedding day May 2nd. Using a lot of spd goodies, so you might want to check out the credits! :)

The little Ruben (my colleagues little boy) and his cute smile using Kasia designs new kit 'blowing dandelions'....yup the kit I made my new header with :)

When I saw Jasmin's new and first kit, I knew this photo of my mom was perfect for it. You might regonize the photo, cause yeah this isn't the first time I scrapped it! :) Jasmin a*k*a minemuas made her designer debut at spd this weekend and her first kit 'natural glow' is just beautiful!

And the last one for today is my younger cousin Tessa..she's always full of joy and has this voice of an angel. Used Kasia designs new kit 'bird song' for this page!

So yeah...I just got another new kit from Kasia from the store, wich will be released tomorrow and just have to say, it's awsome! I'm so excited all these talented designers joined SPD...I'm just so honored! :)

Then our summer vacation...Deleted this part to keep the surprise element for the ones we're going to visit in July! Sorry! :)

Ok ladies, got to get back to my 'to do list' and having my first official kiddy shoot later on today! Wanted to go to this parc, but well it's raining. 203: It's almost over!!

Phhew ladies, I'm exhausted!! Just got home from my softball game and well we WON!! So yeah, but it was a 1,15 min drive and that kind of shut me out! I need to shower and then head to my parents for fathersday and having a BBQ there, so luckily no cooking for me tonight!

199: We won, We WON!!!

Won what?? Well I can hear you thinking from here!! LOL. We won the the second match during the european soccer championship!! Well we..our Dutch soccer team did...And I so wish I'd put money on that, cause I told my friends they were going to win with 4-1, right before the game started! And well they did won with 4-1! So yoohoooo...it's so awsome. Our Dutch team is now on to the quarter finales...So again, yoohoooo for us! This is so excited and the guys did fantastic!! :)

197: Only 3 more to go....

OMG, I'm getting a little nervous here, my kit isn't quit done yet and well I need to contact some of my designers for some prizes to hand out on Saturday and guess what....HELLO IS GONE, done, quit, slush, finito!! :( This really sucks and well how can they do this to us?? When I tried to open it it gave me a mesaage that it was un-installing from my pc. So well, now I need to send lots of emails to get it set. I still need to make my blog party ad and well I want a new blog header too! :) So yeah I'm glad I've got today off, cause there's a lot I need to work on.

196: It's my Birthday!!

Ok this morning at 6:06 AM exactly I turned 26...yes I passed the quarterly age! LOL. Yesterday I celebrated with family and friends and had a lot of fun! The food, was goo, the company was good, my present were good!! Ok just watched friends, so little Joey style here! LOL. When everyone left I went out dancing with a few friends and well they told the DJ and played a b-day song and called it out all over the floor that it was my b-day at 00:00. Didn't like the fact everyone looked at me, but hey...it was for a few secs. only! hehe. Today we just relaxed and didn't do anything big. Juts got home from my parents' house, we had dinner there!

Tomorrow one more party day, cause my colleague( who had her b-day on May 26th) and I are celebrating our b-days with the kids at daycare. We always celebrate together since our b-days are so close! It's going to be fun...

After work I have to rush to softball to play a match, not with my own team though since the 2nd team needed a pitcher and luckily one of my girls is playing with them too...Hope we'll win, since the 2nd team is well..the 2nd team! LOL

Ok off to watch some tv, but first I've got a page to show you...It's all about me: what I love, what I do and just who I am at 26! :) Hope you like it...

Yoohooooo it is!!! Thanks to Joe Cheng from the live writer team...Today he left me a comment here on the blog and told me I should contact him, so we could solve this thing! And well it worked!!! I'm sooo happy and the only thing I had to do was go to picasa/google and edit the name of the windows live writer image folder. And here we are! Thanks so much Joe, you rock!!! :)

Btw, had to try with a photo of course and her's my cute 2nd cousin Quinn again, need to scrap this photo for sure!! :)

194: a quick one :)

Ok first of all, it looks like my blog isn't going to be fixed for the party...well I mean blogging in live writer isn't! It totally sucks and well there's nothing I can do about it!! :( I hate this yucky borders around images and the fact I can't put the images and links where I want them to be...Anyone has a clue on how you fix uploading photos to live writer?? I can upload them, but when I want to publish it gives me an error message and can only publish posts without images!

The mainreason I came here today is that I have loads of pages to show you...and well having this new CT gig, really made an effort to that. I'm so excited I can't stop and made 4 pages for shabby pickle in 2 days! 193: A lazy tuesday morning!

Yeah it´s tuesday again...Today is usually my day off of work, But one of colleagues has a sick kid at home and well my group at daycare would be attented by a substitute and someone from a employment agency. And well I just can´t let that happen. ´My´ kids being with people I´m not sure of...so luckily one of my other colleagues will work the morning till 13:30 and then I´ll work the rest of the day! I have some appoitments this morning and need to pick up my new passport! So it´s a little relieve that someone I know really well is watching over ´my´ kids right now!

I woke up in the early hours...I can´t seem to sleep in late anymore. Have no clue what´s up other then I have sooo many things to do and take care of before we´re going on vacation...Wich will be in 4 WEEKS! I need to finish my cousins b/day album, get the kit done for my blogversary in 1,5 week, need to burn dvd´s with photos of our familydays from the last 3 years...and there is soo much more! I think I need a big list of all things that still need to be done! Yikes and time is really flying by! :(

Talking about our familyday...it was great and really had a blast! Since I haven´t got a page to show you, I´ll show of some photos :) Like I said we went famr golfing...lemme explain! LOL. Instead of getting a normal club, we got a stick with a clog at the end. Just hilarious. All holes were in the grazing-land surrounded by Cows and sheep...and a lot of obstackles..hehe. Cow-poo, ditches, mud-pools & more!! Well just imagine! LOL. Balls covered in poo, shooting from the water and stuff like that! After worthes we had a fun and yummy BBQ...

















Well luckily shabby pickles is back up and my CT gig has started...I´m still so excited and honored!! I asked Holly for a code to one of her kids, so that I could get started this morning...Worked great, but then my order got qeued! So well still can´t scrap! I hope it will be processed when I get home after work and the only thing on my mind then is scrap, scrap, scrap untill my eyes don´t wanna anymore! LOL

192: fun filled weekend!

well that was the deal, but looking outside it kind of makes me sad! :( Well yestrday the weather was good untill like 10 PM and had this huge thunderstorms...not sure why, but they almost make me want for me mom! LOL. Yesterday I babysitted the kids of my guy's cousin..the oldest two are 11 & 9 and the youngest is 11 months. Well it was fun when we went to see my mom and got something for lunch, went to the petting zoo...but after that, she cried and screamed a lot. Well not sure how to say it, but guess I do...she's just spoiled and whenever she makes a sounds her big sis will lift her up. So she didn't wanted to go anywhere out of side of her big sis! I told her to just leave her, but she kept giving her the attention she was asking for and only slept for like 15 minutes!!!! So she was cranky and I just couldn't comfort her! I never have this with kids..but well usually no one of their family's are around at daycare. So yes they do feel save with you. I'm not sure what's up with this girl, other then she's just kind of spoiled in attention! But well it started of great and took some cute photos at the petting zoo and playground...Here's one I want to share :)
Today we're having our yearly familyday and going farm golfing???...LOL. It is supposed to be a lot of fun and can't wait. With with our family is always fun, but always look forward to familyday and kind of sad we only host this once a year! LOL. The only thing I'm hoping for is that the sun is going to come out soonish! :)

I've got some CT news I want to share...First of all I stepped down for Sara Amarie's CT. I once told her I would never leave her, but well the time had come. My style just really has changed and so has hers and found it hard to find the perfect photos for her kits. And well I know I'm a missy perfect! And well I'm also very busy at the moment! Then she took in a couple of news girls and they were all so busy and active and felt a little quilty. I thought about it a lot and felt someone who has more time and is more dedicated deserves a chance to work with Sara's fab goodies!

Then I did apply for a new CT and well I just never thought I would get it. I'm just very busy at the moment and well I love this site..ow you want to know wich one it is?? LOL. Well they offered me a spot at shabby pickle's SITE CT!!!! How cool is that? So yeah, I'm going to go for it and hope I can keep up! It just means I won't have a lot of time scrapping for just me! But that's ok if I get to work with all those fabulous goodies! So yeah, when I got that cute E-card I jumped up and down for 10 mins. and well still doing the happy dance!! :) Here's a page I made with shabby pickle stuff the night I got that invitation...
So my kit is still going great, but I want to add so much more I'm not sure if I have time to fix it all! LOL. I did decided to make it two kits. One huge freebie and then I'm making a great add-on for the kit, wich I want to sell for a little money. Not sure how to do that though, so if you have any ideas I would love to hear them! :)

Well we're leaving in about 2,5 hours...going to have breakfast now and would love to get a page scrapped...but we'll see if I can find the inspiration. There is a kit from Holly I would love to scrap with...but SPD and a lot of other populair sites are down doing a fire/explosion...read all about it here! So yeah...I really hope it will be back on when I get home tonight! Ok peeps have a fab day! Hugs
