172: It's really me! :)

Had no idea for a title, so let's make sure it is me..the lost one! LOL. Well let me tell you I'm sick...again. Have a huge cold and it feels like my head is about to explode! I did went to work this week and today is finally my day off...pffeeeew! I needed it. Only one more day to work and then it's weekend!! This morning I wanted to sleep in late...NOT! I woke up at 8:30 and couldn't sleep anymore...did stayed in bed for another hour and watched some tv. Just resting is good too!

Well the manin reason I came here is that I have some pages to show you and the second is that I have some news about ACDSee!! :) So let me start with my pages first!!

Our little cousin Aatik, during the carnival parade. here's a page I made of his little sister Imane, also watching the parade! Last year I made such a page of her watching it! :)

Last sunday after 2,5 hours of softball practice I went to my parents' house to meet up with my cousin and her little boy. We went for a long walk in the forrest and off course took lots of photos of the cute Quinn :)

And the last one..One of my coleagues' little girl Rosanne! Well this isn't a real special LO, but the program I made it in is....hold on....

This is my first page using the new improved ACDSee photo editor 2008 B�ta! Say what you scrap in ACDSee?? Uhhm yes I DO!! Well never mind this, but I just saw a post at DST asking if you could scrap in ACDSee...hehe. And yes you can. I've been using ACDSee's photo editor for over six months and I love it! Never look back at my PSP X anymore, that thing was waaaay tooo slow! :)

First let me tell you something about phto editor. First of all it's very user-friendly and it has some amazing features..such as; easily apply vignette, make groups of let's say alpha's and resize them all together, easily apply text on a path, shadows come in seperate layers and best of all is that it doesn't take up a lot of RAM while scrapping...I'm HOOKED!!!

Well the new B�ta version has some cool new features too;

• Advanced journaling & text curving options
• Simplified process for using your favorite papers & photos in templates
• Artistic effects can be added, modified & deleted at any time
• Advanced printing options to ensure that your project turns out as you expected
• Use of abr brushes and create brushes from png's and any image you choose

Well I like it, but too be honest I haven't tried any of the new features today, maybe I'm just a little to scared in trying new stuff! LOL Well I'll make sure I'll try on my next page! :) And then there's this...

171: Not sure what's wrong??!!

But I can tell you I've been a BAD blogger these past couple of weeks. Not sure how come...Maybe I'm just way too busy at the moment or I just don't have a lot to tell you folks! Who knows, but I'll try my best to keep coming here more often...

Like right now I don't have a lot to tell you ladies either. Been working a lot these past couple of weeks and been busy with all the changes over at weeds & wildflowers. Then scrapping...well I finally had time to make a couple! Let me show you...

Here's one I made on Tuesday...this was my first page since nearly two weeks! :) One of my colleagues little boy Ruben. Used Candice Wong's liftgroom presets on the photos...

This is the page I made Thursday, I wasn't quit statisfied but my pc kept crashing and so I decided to keep it like this! :) One of my other colleagues little girl Maddy.

And the last one I made last night..but let me tell you this is the second page, here's what happenend... I was about to save my page, but then this huge wind blew against our appartment and not sure if it had anything to do with it. But in a flash the electricity went OFF and right back ON??? I freaked...my page one was gone with the wind!!! LOL. So I just decided to start back over...hehe! I just had to finish this thing. As smart as I am, I didn't save have way through, but luckily for me the power went off only once! :) Here it is...

Haven't posted this one yet...Oh wait, let me do that real quick! :) I made this page for the new ONdesigns blog and their first challenge!

As you can see I did a whole lot of shopping...Annie mannings's 'boxed in', Ondesigns new 'kit nr 14' one of Jofia's latest kits and some goodies from natali...Uhm no that's not all of it..but can't remember excactly what I bought! LOL

Today I haven't planned anyhting yet..do have to get some grocery's but other then that I would to scrap all day long! LOL. Tomorrow is our first outdoor practice and really hope it's not too cold! It is early though, we need to be on the field at 11:00, well not that early, but if you're used to sleeping in late on sundays it IS! :) The I would really love to go for a long fresh walk and take some photos..haven't been out for taking photos is a while. And I also want to visit my cousin Sylvia and her little blot Quinn, cause well I miss that little one! :)

170: Big changes!!

Nope, not at here...yet! I am working on something but really need to think this through! But that's not what I'm here for! :)

Changes and lots of them happening over at weeds & wildflowers. From now on we have a fabulous public forum!! And I totally love it!!! And really we made all these changes in less then a week...really we did! We had a site-ct team chat on Monday and from that point, things went fast! I have to be honest and say I really got the creeps the last couple of days! Were we ready for this?? Well turned out we DID!!!

Already lots of fun things happeninh over there! There's an AAM challenge where you can win a guest spot with Heidi for the month of March. Then we're having a fan blinkie contest...sport and you could win a 5$ GC to one of W&W's store. And Chere also set up a fun game where you can win another 10$ GC...Isn't that awsome! You have to come check it out. But off course you need to register first, before you do so please go to Chere's thread: 'start here' and read closely! :)

Then we decided to combine the meadow ct blog and the WW blog into one! That way we'll all have it in one place! And off course made some extra changes over there too! :) From now on we're posting every weekday and we have set-up this weekly schedule...

This is all going be so awsome! And let me tell we really worked hard on this! So because of all this going on and well me, who wants everything to be perfect, I haven't scrapped at all! So after normal life starts again on Monday, I hope I haven't lost my mojo this week! LOL I'm planning to do a page for Monday's first freebie challenge today..but that will probably be tonight...

In an hour I'm going over to the soccer stadium, to watch a game from a skybox! :) We're going with some of my colleagues and I know this is going to be fun! :) So have to hurry, before they're here to pick me up. Need to have breakfast and take a shower before they do...and I know me..on sundays or actually always when I'm off work, I seem to keep sitting for too long and always too late!! LOL

Ok 15 minutes ago the doorbell rang...I was just about to go take a shower! :) I answered and the guy said, I've got some pretty flowers for you...can I come up? :) Well off course you can!!!! They're lovely...my guy send me 6 beautiful red roses, since we've been together for almost 6 years (March 4th). So I called him to say thanks...I really love this guy! :) So very considerate and I love it...Like I always tell him, it doesn't have to be something big it's the idea that counts! :)

168: Happy valentine's day!!

So did any of you bought a gift for your second half! Well I did...ok didn't buy it yet, but did order it and only need to pcik it up. Usually we never do something for valentine other then declear our love for eachother...wich we do almost everyday! LOL. On March 4th we're always celebrating our 'being togetherness'...hehe, so we usually go out to dinner and give eachoter something special on that day and do nothing with Valentine...Well today is different. I know he's been looking for this song from an arabic singer, but couldn't find it anywhere. Last week I went to this special music store that only sells arabic cd's and he could order it for me! Yesterday he called it was in...so that will be my gift and a special dinner for my guy!

Then comes my gift?? What will it be?? I have no clue at all...Let me teel what happened an hour ago. My guy called me from his work and asked what I was going to do today. Well I told him I needed to go somewhere (to get his gift and some grocery's)...well, he said: uuuhm, I think you need to stay in! So I said: for what?? Well there's supposed to be something delivered today!! So I don't know why but I got all warm & fuzzy inside...My guy?? did something special for me??!! Really?? I'm so curious and can't wait till it's here! I might even say that I'm falling in love all over again...LOL. Oh, but wait...first need to see what it is...haha. Why isn't that delivery guy here yet??????? LOL

ok call that somewhat of a little love story...hehe. I'm running out of words here! LOL. My guy isn't usually that considerate and I sometimes really miss that. For exsample...my dad! He is defenitly the sweetest guy of the planet...well in my eyes he is! :) He gets my mom flowers like almost every week, she always get a big bunch of red roses for her birthday, their anniversary, valentine and he's just a sweetheart in every way! I love that guy...well my little brother starts to act like that too and love it. But why isn't my guy like that?? I sometimes wonder, but after his call an hour ago...I WILL forgive him all of that! And really do hope that there's a slight change he will change this and will get more considerate! I do really, really, really love him, but that's the only thing I sometimes miss! :)

On to something else now...LOL! Cause this is getting a little too long...hihi!

I haven't scrapped for a couple of days, just busy with some other things. Well no boring things at all, cause there are some awsome changes going to happen over at Weeds & wildflowers and uhm...you ladies are all involved! :) I can't tell you just yet, but I can tell you the BIG news will be out this saturday! And I know this will rock digiland...I'm so excited I can't hardly wait! But on the other hand, there are still a lot of things I need to get done!!! Last night I was really getting the creeps, since some things didn't work out the way I wanted them. But some ladies knew just the right words to tell me and it got better! LOL...I really can't wait and know all of you ladies will going to love this! :)

Ok, that's it for today...sorry for the image-less post, but will be back a.s.a.p with some pages, my special gift and off course the big news! Gotta go...wanted to say get some grocery's and all, but the doorbell hasn't rung yet! :( Then I'll just clean up in here and take a shower...so I'll be  ready to go outside when it's here!

167: Missed me??

Well I did miss all of you ladies and your sweet lovin' comments! :) I've been fairly busy this week and just didn't feel like blogging. I wanted to blog yesterday but well Karne's little boy Milan had his birthday party and after that I went to a friend and helped her buy and set up her photo manager 10. She loves it, but wonder is she will get it all organized! LOL...So got home at 19:30..watched some tv and decided to make a page, since i took this cute photos of her little boy! The weather over here is amazing and already feels like spring. I love it and with all of this happening I feel lots better! just because the sun is shining and all around me these little flowers are popping up...really my time of year :)

Then I got this sweet comment from lovely online friend Edeline yesterday...she left it at my blog! She tagged awarded me with these three cute things :) She is such a sweetheart and if all goes right I even get to meet her this summer, since they're planning to come over here in August! yoohoo!!

Thanks hun and always like reading your blog! :) Then one of my new online friends Biancka...I always love chatting with her on hello and she is also one talented scrapper. And last but certainly not least is JanMary, we're both creating for W&W and the last couple of months she became one of my regular blog visitors...I always love reading her blog...her photos and stories inspire me and you also have to take a look at her photo blog. So here ya go ladies...all for you! :)

166: Carnival is here...

And that means, almost our whole country is partying!! And let me tell you, people are crazy around this time of year. Everyone is dressed up and yesterday was parade day. Around 13:00 I went to see the parade over here...I always go here every year and this time I brought My SIL, her kids and laila, our little niece. They loved it and there were like 30 big, full with party people cars and lots of fun music. Although at some cars it was a little too loud! LOL... Two of my colleagues were also on a car...here are a couple of photos...

Then stayed home for a while...Had diner with Abdel's parents and then I went to Cothen to meet up with Karen and her family. There was another parade at 19:30, but this was a special one. A light parade...it was so cool!! So here are some more photos...

So I do have 100 photo more, lol...but will leave!! :) it with this...Some of these cars were totally amazing and these people have worked on these cars for almost one YEAR!! Kind of looked like a disney parade :) And all of these cars were fully decorated with lights...it was really outstanding! Mihgt have to go again next year! :)

Today I'm not going to do anything special...I do need to go to my aunt later on and get an military suit. We're also celebrating carnaval at daycare tomorrow and tuesday and we too have to dress up. Friday I went as a pirate, so wanted something else. :)
