165: It's getting better!

Everyday I feel a little bit more like the old me! And so I decided to go back to work tomorrow...I don't feel a 100% better, but this sitting at home is just not for me. Laying in bed all day and feeling bad...just Yuck! Today I'm going to take it easy! The last couple of days I did manage to get a couple of pages done. When I just couldn't lay anymore, got up and made a page. Although I couldn't sit here for more then an hour or else my head and body started to work against me...

But first let me tell...I got a new temporarily gig with ChereKaye, yoohoo! I get to be a guest for like 2 months. So last night she gave a go to enter her forum and well had to start right away :) I downloaded the fabulous new February colab kit, wich you will all love...but sorry can't show ya! I also picked up Chere's crazy 4 you kit and made a page with it...

It's the cute little quinn only one day old...haven't posted this yet, but will do that later today. Cause well, I already posted two pages this morning...wanna see??

First off one I made the day before yesterday...It's my sweet colleagues Antoinette and her love...Well, she left our daycare in November to go traveling for like 6 months or longer...They started in Chilli and this photo was taken in Argentina...

Then there's me, made with this fantastic new colab kit by Gina marie Huff (W&W) and Vera Lim...exclusivly available at prima hybrid.

journal reads: If I could, I would... then...I would quit smoking today!! I think about it every morning when I wake up, girl you need to stop with this nasty habit! I know I can and I sure will, but for some reason I keep putting it of. I know it's bad for my health and it ould kill me one day. Setting a goal doesn't work. But one of these day I will wake up and just don't want to smoke anymore!!

This is just all me and already have 3 more pages in my head to make with this kit! LOL.

164: caught this nasty flu!

But first let me say thanks to everyone for leaving me these sweet comments! I'm so glad you all like my freebie and thise really make me want to make even more!!! LOL. So thanks again and enjoy. And would also love to see any pages you've created using my butterflies...I will leave the download link on here for a few more days. Now on to the subject of the day ...

OMG ladies...please tell me...why do I feel this bad?? They say this nasty flu epidemic is floating in the air here and the only thing I want to know is why did I have to be one of those who got it?? Yuck! All my muscles are sore, my head is heavy, got a little fever and just feel like an old saggy bag! On Friday I didn't feel too good and went to bed early..well the next morning wasn't any better. Took some meds, cause I had to go out to dinner with the girls from work and just didn't want to miss it! And well on sunday I felt even worse...so stayed home from work yesterday. Today is my weekly day off and want to go do something fun, but just can't and don't have the energy to do anything!! I need to decide wether I feel good enough to go to work tomorrow and stay home for another day! Well, I'll wait a little longer and try to eat something and call my work...But enough wining for now!!

Did I tell you ladies I've got a new CT: I'm now on Candice Wong's lightroom CT and it has been great so far! I just started last week though, but let me tell you she has some awsome sets in her store over at purple paper flowers. She made 5 sets so far. So yesterday I got a little tired from laying in bed I got up and decided to play with them. Here's a photo of me...I want to use this one for a new avator, but can't pick wich one to use...here's the orignal one...

I played with all five sets and these are the ones I really liked, but can't pick the one I want to use. But I guess I want it to be in color! Would love to know wich one you like best! :)

163: It's here, my freebie!!

I guess it's been like 6 months ago since I last made a freebie! The idea for this one came up after I finished a page and made this extraction of that butterfly. And well, not sure if you know me...but I loooove butterflies!! The walls of my restroom are filled with all these colourful butterflies :)  (*note to self: take picture of my restroom...LOL) Off course I needed to scrap with them before I posted them here...

162: it's tuesday!!!

Nothing really special to tell you today...Just a little chat and also got some pages to show you! :) Well today is my weekly day off and haven't done anything so far...well I scrapped a page and have put on the washing machine...LOL!

Last week, I applied to a guest call and yesterday I found out I will be a guest in may...I'm so honored and can't wait, is it may yet?? But sadly I still haven't seen the announcement, so you'll have a to wait a little longer untill I reveal my little secret! :)

Here are some pages...This is the one I made this morning. It's for Annie's (laughterqueen) three things challenge, wich she is hosting on the meadow blog tomorrow. (btw, I posted on it yesterday! ) Here it is...

Ok ladies..I've got to put the laundry in the dryer, head to the post office and want to go get a new cap for my kit lens (wich I lost a 2 weeks ago!) But first take a nice warm shower...Maybe I'll head to the parc later on, since the sun has been shining all morning. And well, it has been a while since I last saw the sun...LOL. It has just been raining for like 1,5 weeks or so!

161: I like my style!

Ok not that I want to pad myself on the back...but on the other hand I do!! LOL I really love how my scrapping style has changed and I think it's only gettig better :) I'm not always statisfied when I finished a page, but the last couple of ones, were just like I had in mind! :) When I scrap a page takes me like between half and hour and 1,5...cause I want it to be perfect. You could say I'm a little perfectionist...so when I'm working on a page I always put on this and that, but like 50% I've put on there will be removed or replaced for something else...LOL! Yup, that's just me :)

Here are my last two pages made with Gina Marie Huff's fabulous new kit: 'a breath of fresh air'. It's not in store yet, but it will be available pretty soon at prima hybrid. Ow yeah talk about prima hybrid..I heard there will be a big re-opening on the store, quit soon...but can't spill anymore beans here! LOL Here are my pages and Gina's kit :)

This morning I finally slept in late again...usually I wake up around 9/9.30 on my day off and weekends...but today 11:30 and let me tell you it feels gooood!! Today is going to be a fun day...First I just want to scrap, I really do have to get some grocery's but think I'll leave that up to my guy today. Half way the month we normally go for big grocery shopping, since he just got payed...but today...well I guess not cause I've got to scrap! So I think I'll just let him get the important things and will do the others on tuesday when I'm off work! :)

Then at 16:00 my time, 10AM est and 9AM central time...I'm hosting a chat with Connie about photo manager pro 2. The digiscrapinfo's 1st birthday party is going good so far :) And like I said before, you really want to go to the party forum, cause there are lots of games and challenges and well, that means...awsome oportunity's to win some fab. prizes! 160: in a state of EHD happiness

OMG peeps, I really love my new Maxtor touch 4, 500 GIG external hard drive!! I've put all my scrap supplies and some other things on there. I'm using my old one just for photos...I love it!! I moved all my scrap files through ACDSee's photo manager and it worked out great! I was scared I needed to organize all my stuff again when I wanted to put all my digi stuff on my new EHD, but didn't have to! Really this program sooo rocks! And it saved me a lot of time! Good thing I asked Connie first or else, I problaby had no clue!! I'm sooo happy!!! :)

Talking about ACDSee...Well, I meant Connie...Digiscrapinfo.com the seriously helpful site Connie and her sister Heidi set-up exactly one year ago are celebrating their first birthday party starting January 17th. Digiscrapinfo can answer all your questions concerning ACDSee software and they present all sorts of awsome tutorials, organizing tips and lots more...

Ok...I was going to post this early this morning, but ran out of time...One of my scrapping buddies Antoinette came over this morning for some help. She really wants to start using ACDSee's photo editor for scrapping. So we made some sort of easy to use instruction sheet...So I'm psoting now and have got some other fun things to mention except for my new EHd and the digiscrapinfo party! :)

When I woke up this morning I had this awsome email from one of the team ladies from the sweet shoppe...she choose this page for layout of the week. Check out the blog!! While I scrolled down on there I noticed my new on the post under the lotw post...guess what?? They're going to scraplift my gallery!! I'm in such a hppy state and really, my day couldn't have had a better start...I'm sooo honored!!

Ow wait...talking about my good start of the day...The ladies from weeds & wildflowers kept this biig secret for us ever since somewhere last year and today was the day the were going to announce. So you could guess what the first thing was I did when I woke up...to the W&W CT forum and there it was!! They're also going to sell over at primahybrid.com. I wanted to link you to the store, but will all those digiscrap women visiting anf huntig down the store..it's down!! :) LOLOL. But I can tell you, you've got to go there when it's back up...Soem other favous digiscrap designers joined that site too, such as: Gina Miller, Vera Lim, Merdith Fenwick and lots more! I'ts so exciting!!!

This is my sweet friend Karen a*k*a Cloggie68, We met like 5 years ago when her first born came to our daycare...She once showed me her digital scrapbook and I was sold...around october 2005 we became friends more and more eacht day...chatting on msn, while scrapping and learned a lot from her. I'm so glad we became such good friends and want to thank her for everything she's done for me!! Love ya Karen!! :)

This is the page I made when Antoinette was here this morning. And showed all sorts of fun tricks in ACDSee's photo editor (wich she bought recently!) This is the first time I did my font like this and love how it turned out! :) This is the only photo she had of her mom when Max was just born...Sadly short after that her sweet mom passed away...so sad!

159: weekend's here!!

So getting back to work this week was bad!! Well, not that bad...but I had a lot of trouble getting back into my daily routine! But on the other hand it flew by and before I knew it...weekend's here! :)

On tuesday I had this photography class and it was so awsome!! Now I know my camera (Canon EOS 400D) from the inside out! I love it...so this week at daycare I tried a lot of things I learned. I'm just so glad I did this! :) When I got home I had a quick dinner and had to go to our first softball practice after winter-stop. Well let me tell you, our coaches really tortured us for alsmost 2,5 hours! And well, not training for almost 4 motnh gives you bad muscular pains for 3 days!! Yes, it was bad..I couldn't even lift my arm up high. Mean reason is that I also started with pitcher training again...and practicing your arm for an hour after doing nothing for a while is just bad!! :) But I feel lots better today!

So my plans for the weekend...well nothing big, I just want to scrap a lot!! LOL. I do have a two brithdays this weekend, this afternoon our little cousins are celebrating their birthdays together and tomorrow my grandma is having a little family party! Other plans for today, well need to get some grocery's since our firdge is kind of empty...LOL. And I'm finally going to get a new EHD! My guy promissed me he was going to get one this week, but didn't. He went last night and the one I nwated was sold, but they did have a couple of left in another store...So I just woke Abdel up and told him to get dressed...I need this thing!! LOL

It's my sweet coleague Marjolein during her vacation in Mexico last year. BTW she's getting married on the 27th of June and asked me to take all the photos that day!! So awsome...and can't hradly wait! :)

Oh yeah one more thing before I go...Did you see the new digital artist magazine??? Well, I'm in there this month and I'm just so proud! Who ever thought I was going to be published twice this month?! Not me!! :)

158: Lo's & more...

Yup, I know boring title!!!! LOL. I wouldn't say I AM bored, but just a little....well not in the mood! I'm a little sad my two weeks off are almost over...I need more time to do all the things I wanted to do and the fact is...I just don't feel like going back to work tomorrow!! But hey, have to pay all the bills right?? Yuck!

I did do some fun things...On thursday I took 2 of our cousins out ice-skating and it was great! Not too cold and they really enjoyed it! Took like 60 photo of the two of them :) Here they are...Faris and Laila

I took this one photo of when Laila was ice-skating and kind of looked like she was flying...I bought Jofia's new ephemarals and made this page...

Then on Friday I went to this indoor playparc Ballorig with the kids from our neighbour, they just had so much fun and were both exhausted after playing for 3 hours....LOL. Off course I took my camera, how ever somewhere in the playpac I lost the cap of my lens...So ordered a new one right away! Then I started CT-ing for Micheline Martin and just couldn't wait any longer...As soon as I got the links I started right away and made 3 pages for her since Thursday. I'm just un-stop-able!!!! LOL :)

So yes, the year has just started and already made 5 pages :) Well, I could have scrapped more, but had lots of other things to do. I don't remember who and where, but someone asked how many pages we made last year...So I counted and made almost 300 pages...I think a little more, since I forgot to count some pages I scrapped for hire (kind of thing LOL) So I'm kind of proud of that! I decided to write it down somewhere how many I've made this year...So it will be easier to check next year! Cause yes..I will be scrapping!! LOL

I'm going to start cooking an indonesian dinner in half an hour, cause we're going to eat over at Abdel's parents' house tonight. His folks are in Morocco and there are still 2 sisters and brothers at home and promissed them to make indonesian food. But since we're going bowling first with my parents, I should better start now! And I didn't even have breakfast yet...LOL!

Tomorrow I have to go back to work...Do I really?? aargh! And when I get home I'm hosting a new scraplift challenge at the meadow blog. So hope to see you there!! :) On tuesday I'm going to my first photography class. It's one from Canon on how to learn your camera from the inside out! Really can't wait...When I get home, I'm going to have a quick dinner and then softball practice finally starts again! I so look forward to that...Cause really my condition/shape is 0,0! haha. We'll see how that goes, but I'll sure have muscular pain the next few days!! LOL I'm also going to start with pitcher training again...:)

157: Happy New Year!!!

Ok my sweets...I want to wish all of you and your families a happy, healthy and off course creative 2008! And may all your wishes come true!

We had a great newyear's eve with my brother and his girlfriend...We got there at around 22:00 and there were like 50 poeple outside. Melvin (my little brother) made a big cardboard box filled with all of these baby arrows...there were over 8.000 in that box. He invited everyone over to come have a look and he would light it at 22:00 so we were right it time!! It was awsome and it lasted for over 7 minutes!!

We toasted at 00:00 and went outside to light up all the other firework...Well, none of us girls did..the guys got us a children pack and we had a blast with that!! LOL. Took the boom box outside and just drinked and danced! :) It was so much fun! And off course I took my camera outside...all together we bought this awsome flowerbed...and wow, that thing was just beautiful!!! here are a couple of photos I took....

The last photo is one of all the mess they left...They did clean it the next day! :) Have 50 more photos, so I'll post some others this week! :)

My year started of good...nope, didn't won any jackpot though!! LOL But have some other fabulous news!!...

First off, I'm going to guest CT for Micheline Martin this month and really I'm so honored...I replied in her thread at DST, but after talking to Biancka she told me I'd better send her an email too...So I did on the 31st that is! That was the day of the deadline...So I wasn't sure at all if my mail got throug. Well it did!!!!

Thenthere's a big TOOT, TOOT, TOOT...I got published in the january issue of the digital artisan guilt notebook. Haven't seen it yet...just registered to the site and can't wait to see it!! I'm just soooo honored they picked my LO out of my gallery!!

Ok will be back soon...but have to wrap this up now! I'm going ice-skating with Abdel's cousins' kids Laila and Faris...My mom and my little couisn Robin are coming too...Off course I'm bringing my camera!! :)
