110: weekend stuff, LO´s & freebie!!

Yes, that´s right..got another freebie for you ladies! But first
things first...

weekend stuff
As some of you might know..all our family members are on vacation,
except for my GM, my aunt & my BIL. My BIL has been here a couple
of times for dinner, since his mom asked us to take care of him :-)
He asked me if I could do his laundry today...so yeah, no problem!
Need to check my parents´and my brothers house for mail and stuff.
And that will be all we´ll be doing..LOL. No, Abdel wants to go
to an outlet store tomorrow and have to get grocery´s today...
So really, a relaxed weekend...We´ll see! :-)

I took these photos of this curious goose a couple of weeks ago and
my first time I scrapped something outside the frame...Made this for

And the last one...I made this for Sara Amarie´s CT and for the lifts
with a twist. Did you know Sara is this times designer?? So yes, I had
to play! And since today is the product release day at the sweet shoppe
I used her new kit called `have a blast´ Love the colours of this and
was perfect for my LO...I really like how this turned out and think
I did an great job on the lift :-) Credits can be found here



Then there´s only one thing left...
MY FREEBIE!!!!! I really hope you ladies love this one and watch me
because I will be making more of these... :-) I´m also working on some
papers and glittered lines. Yes, I think I´m starting to love this
designing thing!!! :-)

109: chit-chatting...

Didn´t got alot of response at DST on my thread...to be honest,
only one from the lovely Quirky...she joined our little community
and so did miss Chels. So let´s pay them a visit and leave them
some lovin´!! :-)

LO & photographer
In May a photographer came to take photos of all the kids and off
course we got to go too. I ordered our group photo and one of myself.
I got all the 4 class photos for free :-) We got the prints on Monday
She did an great job, althoug I think I can do it better!! LOL.
Well, the idea is awsome, but some of the photos aren´t just it, ya
know?? I know I´m a little too precise sometimes, but just can´t
help it!! LOL

Yes, she´s cooking us indonesian food...yoohoo!! My little brother is
going on vacation to Greece tomorrow and GM asked them over..when I
heard that, I called her right away...why we weren´t invisited...LOL.
Oh she said, I totally forgot. Well, she´s getting older, right...LOL.
No just kidding, I really love my sweet GM!!!! And she´s an awsome cook!
Going over there around 17:00, but have to get her a frame first for the
photo.

other things to do...
Have to get a lot of other things done before I go too. I promissed I
was going to make the rice and hot eggs for tonight. The eggs are boiling
now and will be done in 5. Got some paperwork to do and get some small
things from the store...And I really feel like shopping...BIG time!! :-)
But have no idea where to go...we´ll see where I end up! :-)

108: blog community

I´ve been wanting to talk about this for a couple of weeks now!
But first I want to appologize to all the sweet members for
not visiting them at least once a week...I told you in my last
posts that I´ve been real busy the past couple of weeks...
So I´ll make up to all of you hunny´s!!!

first, what were the rules again...
- Only become one of my sweet members if you can return the favour
of leaving some love!!
- Try to visit the community members at least once a week, or visit
them after they visited you and leave them some sweet lovin´.
- If you haven´t played along for a while, without any reason...
I´m taking you of the list. (There have been a couple of ladies
that I´ve been leaving love everytime I posted on my blog and have
never returned the favour!!)

Ok the last rule I just added...Really I´m not mad, but the reason
I first started this, was that I always left lots of lovin´ in the
blog train (like at least 10 comments) and only one returned the
favour. Spend an hour reading te whole blog posts and then only
one comment back?? I never only look at LO´s and comment on those,
no really I read the whole post!!! I just love reading everyones
blogs and I know these people have something to tell, right??...
So why only comment on the LO... :-)
I´m not strict at all, but it´s all about the principles, right???

Looking back after 2,5 months I really have some sweet regular visitors
and want to tell all you lovely ladies...I love you!!!! Really!! :-)

So if you would love to have some regular visitors, are interested

Ok on to other stuff...
Like some of you might know...tomorrow is my weekly day off...Got lots
of things planned...need to write some letters, sending some dutch
yummy suprise boxes to a couple of sweet ladies I met in the wonderful
world of digiscrapping, need to get plants for the aquariums: here and
for the one at work, have to make a lots of phone calls.

Last but not least..the most important thing!! I have to burn a couple
of dvd´s...Well that has a reason...hihi. When I tried to put my photos
of daycare on my pc, it stopped..turns out my EHD is full!!!! I have 80
GIG. of scrapping supplies on there...Have I been saving up, huh?? LOLOL
Well, we´ve got a new one, but when we tried it last night..it didn´t
work!! So my sweety will get it checked this weekend and we´ll see!!
But have to make some space on there...Have a couple of things I still
need to d/l!! :-)
Oh one more thing..we didn´t had a dvd burner yet...so when I told Abdel
I really needed one...He just bought one for me...sweet huh?? I came home
last night, when he was just installing it...I was so suprised!!!
I love thet guy!! :-)

107: W&W NEWS & more...

first things first...I´ve got my Mojo back!! Well, with the help
of the fabulous ladies from weeds & wildflowers that is!!!
Have you been there this weekend and seen all the fabulous, yummy,

back...I´m sooo happy!! :-)

106: Only three more weeks...

Till we head for Mallorca...Well, 3,5 to be exact. Our vaction starts
on August 10th and we leave the 15th. I so can´t wait... I´m also
really relieved we´ve got a couple of quiet weeks ahead of us.
Nothing planned and we have summer-break from softball for 4 weeks.
No games, no trainings, no meetings at work, no other obligations!

Last night we had our last double softball game..although we were
suppose to...LOL. Karen and her boys came to watch and just like
the last couple of games, it started heavy raining and thunders, right
after the warming-up. So sad!! So I went home with them and had
a yummy relaxing bath. We don´t have a bad..so I loved it. I
sometimes go to my aunt to take a bath... :-) I can sit in there
for hours, but last night after half an hour...I just had get out!
I didn´t know how to sit ans relax anymore...But is was great!!
Thanks Karen and so sorry for the boys the game got cancelled! :(

We´re gonna feel kind of lonely here...Since all of my inlaws are on
vacation to morocco, except for my youngest BIL. He´s coming over here
tomorrow night for a BBQ. My parents are leaving for a 3 week vacation
tomorrow to Italy and my little brother is going to greece on tuesday.

My GM called, If we weren´t gonna forget her and asked us of for dinner
next week...Well she´s busy anyways, since one of my cousins is going
to marry next week. So that is probably all we´re gonna hear about next
week!! But we´re not going to the wedding...wanna know why?? Well, we
didn´t got invited!!!!!!! Do you believe that?? Well I don´t..only the
uncles & aunts were. I was really pissed off when I first heard that...
But now...I hope it´s gonna be raining...a lot!!!!!!

Ok, I managed to make one page this morning...slowly my Mojo is coming
back...Our little cousin Imane, eating her dessert! We went there for
dinner thursday before they left for Morocco...She was so funny. She
didn´t let us help her...:-)

105: anyone seen my mojo???

Cause I think I lost somewhere during last week... I started
on three pages this morning and haven´t finished any of those!
I´m not sure how this happened...Maybe I´m just too busy with
life at the moment. So let me tell you what I´ve been up to
and then maybe one of you can tell me where I lost it!!! :-)

But First I want to apologize, for not blogging in over a week,
but been sooo busy. I just didn´t have time...So excuse me if
this is going to be a long post!!

first big shooting
Last saturday I had my first big shoot...my brother´s GF had
this big dance recital and they needed a photographer. Off course
I wanted to do this...It was awsome and the recital was amazing!
I was kind of nervous at first, but it all went smoot! I had
borrowed my coachs´ flash, b/c I thought the one my camera wasn´t
good enough. I took over 1000 photos...yes, not kidding! Around
11:00 there was the practice and also took the group photos. But
first I helped dressing the little ones and painted faces. Turned
out the flash was a little slow for this, so like 100 photos (or
more)were real blurry. I was kind of mad, cause I had to have
awsome photos.I went home in between the practice and the show and
thought about what to do with this thing! I really had no idea!!
I went home b/c my camera disk was full! Had dinner, dressed and
went back...At 19:00 the big show started. What to do?? Well I
decided to use the flash anyway and see what happens. After the
3rd dance I took of the flash and wanted to see what my own camera
did!! Well, let me tell you...It was even better and way faster.
If I had known this earlier I had took it of earlier!! Aaargh!´!!
But hey, it was my first dance shoot...So yes, it did went ok.
They asked me to do the next recital in two years again!! Sure!!
BTW, the paper called me sunday night to mail them some photos
from the shoot...So yoohoo, I´m gonna be published (kind of!!)!!

birthday party
On sunday our 2nd cousins Sydney turned 9 and went to het party.
I had no idea on what to give her...So we gave her a coupon for a day
out with us. She can pick, an amusement parc, zoo or waterparc.
Tomorrow is her actual birthday so gonna call her and ask if she has
decided yet. The summer vacation starts next week, so we´ll do it
somewhere in the next three weeks. B/c after we´ll be going to Mallorca!
We had dinner there and went home...

Ok I have lots of other fun things to tell you guys....
I spend my 50$ gc to Christina Renee´s store. Off course I bought the
awsome colab with shabby princess, but bought lots more!! Let me tell
you I had 27 zips to download :-)

On sunday morning I scanned over 50 photos from my GM´s old photo album.
After she passed away, my mom asked me if I could scan all her photos
and burn cd´s for the whole family. Last thursday my aunt called me, if
I could scan them right away. Two of my cousins are going to the states
to visit our family and they needed to bring the cd for them. Ok...well
not the right time if you ask me...but ok. I had some time before the
b-day party and started scanning. Some of those were real bad and tried
to make them a little better. I still have over 70 photos to scan, but
didn´t had time left. So will try to do those a.s.a.p!
I found some awsome oldies in that box and did managed to scrap two
pages with those...here they are?? I´m not really statisfied, cause
my mojo seemed to be getting worse sunday night...

ok a couple of little things left to say...
On monday we were suppose to have and double softball game. After the
warming up it got dark...Storm was heading our way, so again another
game got cancelled. We have another double on friday and if it´s going
be cancelled again, the head of games will end the whole competition.
Yes, that means everything we won, was for nothing and will be playing
the other games for fun!! I hate the weather this year. Sp please send
us the sun for friday, please!!

Last night we went to see my colleague and her cute baby Dean... He´s
such an sweety and thursday she´s coming to work and show him to all
the kids and parents. I thought it would be fun to give her a little
baby party at work...

Tonight my mom, brother, his Gf and I are going to see ´The wiz´. I
so hope it´s going to be great. Heard from a lot of people it wasn´t
that good and other were really enthousiast. So we´ll see...

Got to go now...Have to get some things and grocery´s and have to be
at my moms´ in 1,5 hours!! Oh but first have to take a shower...
but promise to be back soon!! :-) Hugs!!

104: Back to normal blogging!

Yep... party is really over, contacted the designers with the winners
and back to normal life! :-) Altough I just want to say one more thank

and if I got it right, there will be added some new things everyday!
I already filled my cart and think I added almost the whole store,
except for the things I already bought ;-) I´m still waiting for my
50$ GC, but when it gets here and off to shop, big time!! There will
be two colabs and one is already in store...The colab between Christina
and Shabby princess. Let me tell it´s awsome!! French countryside


I´ve heard it´s huge and to be honest, I want it now!! LOL! Well, I´m
not really laughing here, but I´m patient!! And know she must be real
buys with all this celebrating!!
I´ll keep you guys posted and let you know when I bought the shop...LOL!

So, yes it´s wednesday...
I really love having this day off, it breaks my week in half! Only till
after my vacation, cause then I´m going back to three days; mon-wed-friday.
But that´s ok too. The first couple of months I´ll keep working these
three days and in November I´ll go back to 4 days. In these months I
can get things in order and try to figure out what I want to do with
photography. I sooo love it and want to go a little further then just
for my hobby. I´ve got my first big shoot this saturday, my BF sister
has this big dance recital and the producer asked me to take the photos!
I´m a little nervous since it´s my first big thing. The rehearsal starts
at 11:00, so I´ve got plenty of time till 19:00 to fix and figure out
all the settings I need. I so hope it all turns out right! :-)

I also planned some other shoots; my cousin is giving birth in August
and aksed me to do a shoot with their newborn ?? baby. And then in
Februari I have my first wedding. I really want to do some other things
to save up some money to buy a flash. I´m renting one now, cause we
can´t afford one at the moment. But that´s ok. It won´t take too long
I guess. :-) We´ll just see about all the photography in the future and
what comes in my way, right?

Nothing much left to say...
The only thing I did today was, sleep, being lazy, sleep and got some
small grocery´s. Oh, I also bought a couple of new shirts. hé, my
sweety is home...what, this early on a wednesday?? Cool!!
Ok, sweeties...All of the sudden I´m going blank here!! LOL

Last friday my colleagues and I went on a trip. Our company gave
us an extra special day...Like maybe some f you know, we were all
a little nervous and really curious. It was all a suprise, well a
fun one. We went drifting along the canals of utrecht. I was great!
The weather was ok and the wine was GOOD!! LOL. After an hour we
went out to this cute restaurant and had an delicious dinner....

Ok, this is gonna be a quick one....with two reasons :-)
1. I need to go to softball practice in half an hour.
2. because I´m afraid I´m not making the deadline for
saturday. Will write another post after practice and
hopefully show my ad for my blogversary this weekend.
Maybe I´ll even put up my new header too :-)
Tomorrow night I´m goping out to dinner and soem other
suprise with my volleagues and probably will be home late.

So really, those are three reasons...LOL. I already changed
for practice, so I only need to pack my gear. But there
are a couple of thing I want to tell you...

About out vacation to mallorca...
Last night with the help of Karen, I finally bought the
plane tickets for our vacation to the sunny Mallorca!!
Let me tell you I´m relieved!! Abdel kept saying, we´ll
book them this weekend and really he has been saying that
for 4 weeks!! I so hate that...I really need security,
especially for this. It´s my only summer vacatio and
really didn´t wanted to be disappointed...no more tickets
or problems with the house we´re staying in...But will
tell you all about that next week!! I just has to tell
you we booked the tickets!! Yoohoo!!!

about our weather...
Weel usually around this time of year...the weather is sunny!
But now-a-days rain keeps poring down from the sky! And I´m
not liking it at all!! A lot of sofbtall matches were cancelled
and off course we have to play them another time...wich means
we´ll need to play two games on one night...or play to games
a week and I did not ask for that!! LOL

I took a photo od the grass field in front of daycare...well
grass...It´s more like an little river...


Mauro´s kids pirate party...
I told I was gonna help out Karen with Mauro´s kids party...
yes, pirate party. I was a lot of fun. First the kids were
a little wild...but after we opened the present and ate some
cake it got better...LOL. We´d set up this littl treasure hunt
and hide envelopes all around the first floor, because of all
the rain we sadly couldn´t go outside. But they loved and after
finding all the envelops they had to search for the treasure.
And yes they found it!! :-) Inside was some candy and an real
pirate diploma...so cute. I was fun, but heavy...Looks at this
cute little pirate!!!


The swan family...
I found them...yesterday when I drove home from Mauro´s party,
I saw them by the water and off course had to take some photos.
They got BIG...The only sad thing is that one little one is
missing! There were only 5 left...so sad! But hey, that´s
life...here they are>>>>

Ok, this is gonna be a quick one...I hope! :-)

So today is my extra day of this week and loving it. Woke up
around 11:00, so yes that´s a good thing. Well for me it is :-)
Did some cleaning and worked on my freebie for my big 1st
blogversary next weekend, let me tell you...it´s gonna be huge!!

In about an hour I´m going to my inlaws...My parents´ in law
left for a 3 month vacation to Morocco last week and my MIL,
asked me if I could cook a couple of days. because the youngest
three are still at home. Ok the youngest one is already 19, but
really I don´t think they can cook for themselves...LOL!!

About the blogversary
I´ve got a lot of fun things planned for you ladies, so make
sure you´re missing out on all the fun!! There will be some
challenges and a couple of sweet prices to win. I´ve got some
sweet things from Sara to give away and also contacted antoher
designer, wich I know you´re gonna love!! :-) Nope, not telling
yet! I´m also working on my huge freebie and already made 40
pieces so far. I´m liking it and so hope you girls do too!! :-)
I´m also working on a new header...I made two, but not really
wure wich one I´m putting up. I´m also almost done with the little
ad poster, only need to wait for that special designer to get back
to me..So I hope it´s done tomorrow!! :-)

Nope, I´m not really proud at the old one...My style sooo changed!! I´d

Blog posts that is :-) That will be my new title for the upcoming
posts...LOL. I´m getting a little nervous, cause I really want
to make the deadline before this weekend...deadline?? to my
100th post that is. I thought of some great things for my sweet
blog visitors!! So yes, you sure wanna check in here next weekend,
for my: 1st anniversary and 100th blog post party!!

My upcoming week will be filled!
Tomorrow we´ve got a double softball match! With all the
rain we had a lot of matches that were cancelled...I really wish
they didn´t, because now we have to play doubles or play two
games a week and really that´s not what I´ve been waiting for,
but ok...And then we have practice on thursday this week.
Tuesday, I think is my only night off. I took an extra day off,
cause I´m kind of tired and ready to go on vacation.
Wednesday I´m having a pirate party!! Mauro is
having his kids party and Karen asked me if I wanted to help her
out..sure, I love pirates...LOL. Maybe I´ll dress up too :-)
At night I´ve got my weekly ´read to´ night. First for my
neighbour kids and then for our little cousin. And really I feel
like they´re making a big progress in their vocabulary, so that´s
a good thing and both parents´ are so happy with that!
Thursday, back to work and practice at night...
Friday, is gonna be fun day...well at least I hope!
After work we´re going out to dinner with my all of my colleagues.
Wel dinner...probably, but our head doesn´t want to spill it and
says it´s gonna be secret! I hate secrets when I comes to her..LOL.
She kind of weird (karen, don´t tell I said this...LOL) and well,
most(really, none) of us girls can get along with her..so will
see about that!!!!

dye-ing hair and a birthday today
In about two hours we´re going over to my parents´, my mom is
gonna dye my hair. Well, I wil be doing the first part at home
and then she´s gonna put high lights in there. Haven´t had those,
but been wanting to try for a year now. So bought a pretty colour
yesterday and hope it will work out.
After that we´re going to my brothers GF, it´s her birhtday today!

chit-chatting, & shoe enabler...LOL
yesterday we had Mauro´s birhtday party, Karen´s little boy!!
It was fun and the cake was yummy!! I bought him skate wheels.
They´re so much fun. Just a set op wheels, you can attach to
your shoes. Have no idea how to explain this, but maybe I can
take some photo of him wearing them on wednesday.

But first I went to get him the present and then...I walked by
the shoestore window...and saw this cute pair on sale!! You know,
I loooove sales...LOL! Tried them on and fit perfect. Lucky me,
since it was the last pair! :-) I´ve been looking for black
shoes for weeks now and finally found them...wanna see???


Cute huh?? :-) Well I almost never wear heels, although I should
cause I´m kind of petite...LOL. But loved these!

well sweet ladies, that´s all for today. Have to put my laundry
in the dryer and get some things cleaned over here!!
