weekend´s here!

Yoohoo, no big plans...only 2 birthday party´s to attend this
weekend. Today, Mauro is having his 5th birhtday party...you
know Karen´s little boy. At 14:00 they´re gonna blow out the
candles...He must be so excited :-) But to be honest I have no
idea on what to buy a 5 yr. old...Maybe one of you ladies has
got an idea??

Tomorrow my brothers´ GF is having her birthday and invited us
over for dinner. So yes, still have to buy her a gift too...

So yes, kind of exciting...well I think so anyway...LOL!
I totally forgot about my first blog anniversary, cause it was
on June 20th...Oops! I wanted to do something special, but haven´t
really thought about it yet. I think I´m gonna celebrate it with
my 100th post. The only thing I know is that there´s gonna be a

I really love me some good music, espcially when I drive to work
in the morning. I need something to sing along (really loud) with
and that has some good vibes to wake me up...LOL. I did this a while

On to some scrapping...
I´ve been realy busy and not really inspired, those are also the
reasons why I haven´t been here past week. Made one page on
wednesday and one last night...This one I made for the weeds &
wildflowers CT. I used the awsome:´everything cardboard, super
stars by Gina Marie. These are really so cute and versatile,
really the possibilities with these are endless...check it out>>>

Well nothing special, I did got a haircut last wednesday...Kind of like
my last cut, so no nothing new :-)

I told you last week, that I really need an vacation, well I still
do. But have to wait till August 13th. I did managed to get and extra
day off next week. I really wanted two, but there was no one who could
work for me. So I´ll be off on tuesday & wednesday next week. I still
need to do lots of things and also have to take some blood tests. Let
me tell you I hate those...but needs to be done! :(

So that only leaves me to wish you all an wonderful day and will be
back tomorrow. I think I´ll put my 100th posts deadline to next
weekend!! Ok, I just thought of that...LOL! I hope I´ll make it!

And that´s all I did today...I know I need to clean my house,
but my sweety totally understands!! And since he´s off work
tomorrow, he said he´ll be cleaning the things that need to
be done!! I so love that guy!!

I scrapped two pages and went for a long walk in the parc by
myself. I went to look for that cute swan family, but couldn´t
find them anywhere...maybe next time! I love the parc and it´s
so relaxing...I love nature! And had a great opportunity to
scrap the photos I took there. There´s an new W&W CT challenge
about our fav. place. I know it´s a big subject: nature,
but felt good! Wanna see??

The next page I made for the new challengefrom Gina Miller´s team
blog, it´s called: button bonanza. And sounded great, so first I
picked up her new (yes, shopped again) funkee buttons and her fab.
new bold graph papers and started scrapping. It was fun, but did
had a hard time finding the right spot for all the buttons, 20
to be exact!! :-) But like how it all turned out!

So here I am after a day full of relaxing...Abdel just got us a
nice meal from ´wok to go´ and it was Good!!!! Maybe I´m even
gonna make a third LO, cause my mojo is on a roll today!!

My scrapping style
I´ve been wanting to talk about this for a while now and since
this post isn´t too long...I´ll get it on :-)

I want to ask you guys what you think of my style and an honest
answer is sure to be appreciated!! Take a look at my gallery
And tell me what you think...Here´s what I think :-)
If I look back at last years pages, I see a lot of pages I really
want to redo. I didn´t use as much elements and different set-ups
as I do now. I also see that I use much more colours...yes I know
green is one of my fav. colours to use and you can really see that.
But the past couple of weeks I try to use colours I usually never
use and to be honest I really like it!! Sometimes I do think that
one set-up looks a lot like another one, but really it´s hard
to think of a new one...LOL! I never use templates, I have enough
of those stashed here, but never use them. I sometimes like to do
a scraplift or get an idea from someone else. But it´s never the
same! :-) I think I´ve created my own style and still learning
new things. I love it!! I checked and made 98 pages so far this
year...So two more and reached 100!! So maybe I´ll give it go
tonight!!! LOL. We´ll just see about that!!

I scrap with...
Paint shop pro X & ACDSee photo editor. The last really blew me
away. I never thought I was gonna use it much, but I do!! It´s
so fast, since it doesn´t take up a lot of working space and it´s
really easy to work with. With PSP X, I felt it sometimes took
me forever to get a page done and after I installed some brushes
it kept crashing. D/L photo editor and since that moment, I haven´t
used PSP. Well I did for my little freebie, but not for scrapping!
I do sometimes miss my scripts and using PSD files, but other then
that...ACDSee´s photo editor rules my pc! :-)

Ok ladies, I´m gonna try to reach my goal...100 pages for 2007!!
Althoug I think I´m not gonna make it, cause I wanna hop on the
blog train and visit my lovely blog community...It´s been too
long...sorry for that girls!! I really want to tell you ladies,
that I love what you´re doing and always love seeing you here!!
I know 1 or 2, that aren´t really playing and been thinking about
on what to do with them... But not really sure. Next month I´m
gonna post another call for that and maybe some other lovely
ladies want to join us!! I know I love it!! :-)

But first let me tell you, I really really need a vacation!!
I´m done, with everything...I just need it. I´m tired, can´t
really concentrate & even a little high tempered! Help me
out here...I need to wait until August 13th, yes I know it´s
taking too long!! I´m gonna try to get a couple days off next
week to get some rest & relax!!

First the online part...Did you hear Lisa Whitney is having a
hugs costumer appreciation sale, 50% that is!! So off course
I went there an stock up some goodies. I bought the whole
chalked full of fun kit: doodles, ellies, papers & alpha...


Cute huh?? I had these in my kaboodle for a while and was
waiting for this big sale :-) I also bought her graph paper
alpha, graph stitched paper cutouts & ulitmate circle stitches.
Well, her stuff is just fab. I already have her beautiful mess
and still use it regularly. Check out her store & the big sale

I also bought the new colab from Dani Mogstad & Miriam Lima,
let me tell you it´s sweet and love the summer feel of this.
So yes, with my mind already in Mallorca...cause that´s were
we´re going, I HAD to have this one...What do you think?

So we were also suppose to go cloths & shoe shopping today,
but didn´t find what we were looking for :( Although I did
go an yummy new perfume, gold star from tommy hilfiger...

Wednesday I also went shopping by myself, found 6 shirts &
some cute necklaces...yes, it´s sale time and I love it!! :-)
Maybe we´re going to the city tomorrow, since that´s the only
place the shops are open on sunday...we´ll see!!

Well, remember I told about her little blog/praising game
and the chance to win an 50$ GC to her new store...Well...
I won, I won!! She really made my day this morning and still
kind of in 7th heaven...LOL. Well she mailed me and really I´m
a winner!! I left love for over 90 LO´s in her gallery and she
told me she didn´t even saw that!! :-) So yes, the almost 2
hours of prasing payed off!! LOL Can´t wait to go spend it,
but really hope I can save it till her grand opening on
the 9th of July! Yoohoo for me!! :-) :-) :-) :-)

Really I´m so proud of her and stunned me everytime with her LO´s.
Where does she get all the inspiration...Just amazing! I voted for
her a couple of times and she always left me this sweet comment,
that she really appreciated me voting for her!! Girl, you´re so
welcome!! Well, since she won and wanted to thank everyone for
their support she thought up this little challenge. She wanted

One LO I made this morning...It´s my SIL and me, getting an
henna tattoo. Journal reads: Off course we both wanted an henna
tattoo and knew the right place to get one. When we walked down
by the waterfalls in Ifrane, this 12 yr- old girl came up to
us and asked if we wanted one...So we took our chance. It was

Listen to her, isn´t she just amazing!! I wrote about her in my earlier post today...

It´s me....

No fancy title...Sitting here typing, wearing my headset,
listening to this amazing new talent: ESMEE DENTERS. She´s
dutch and all over tv & radio these past couple of days.
OMG does she has an amazing voice!! All I can say is wow,
getting goosebumps everytime and she´s a beauty too!!!
Now listening to her version of ´how come you don´t call
me´ from Alicia Keys....just stunning!! I heard her on
the radio a couple of weeks ago and today I remembered
she had all kinds of videos on Youtube.com. So there I
am...There´s this one video I have to show you, and last
week she announced she signed up with tennman records!
She´s wonderful and so wish her the best!!!

Didn´t do anyhting special today :-) Got my dad a new accu
drill for fathersday, that I´m giving him with my brother
and also bought him this yummy marsepin heart..so cute!
And made him a fathersday card. Got some grocery´s and went
back home...

Have you heard the big news yet?? She´s wonderful!! It
looks great and she will be having the grand opening on July

LO´s, Tajine, crocs & more...

Yes, It´s wednesday again!! To be honest, haven´t done anything
yet...well ok, I made two pages and gonna show them later on...

But first...our dinner!
I just went out to get soem grocery´s; chicken, fried peaches,
almonds and herbs. I had this great idea to use my new Tajine,
wich I got for my birthday. I made this recipe before, but the
normal way in a pan. So as I´m sitting here I googled on how
to use my tajine (btw, I will take a photo of it later this
week), cause I don´t want to break it :-) since it´s pottery.
Found that for the first time use it needs to be soaked in
water for 24 hours...well there goes my idea!! Aaargh. So I'm
kind of sad now, cause I wanted to suprise my sweety...:(
Well, I'm gonna soak it right away and will make something
this weekend!

My Athens crocs arrived!
Remember I told you karen ordered me my first pair of Athens
crocs??? Well, they're here!! Yoohoo and really this fast!?!
She ordered them on saturday and already here!! She and her
family are in the sunny Greece right now, so I text messaged
her...She was so happy for me...and yes, I am!! I coulnd't
resist of taking some photos and yes...scrap them!! LOL
Here they are...I choose the pearl white-grey ones, so they
can go with whatever I'll wear! Cute huh? I've put them on
when they got here and still wearing them :-)

And now, I've got to start dinner and want to clean my kitchen
cabinets, well the doors that is...I cleaned them a lot of times
when we first moved here, ok I tried anyways! But with no result.
I'm not sure what those people who lived her first did to them...
LOL. But can't get it clean. So yesterday my dad gave me this
cleaning stuff that they use in the garage for dirt and oil and
told me to try it out. So I did, right after I got home...just
a few spots to see what it did in the morning...Wowsers, that
really blew me away...Those spots are whiter then white!!! LOL

So yes, that's what I'll be doing the next hour, but first
gonna hop on the train real quick...Will visit all my lovely
blog community members after dinner! :-) Hugs!!

My party was great!!

Last night I had my b-day party and had a great time!!
There were about 30 people, family, friends, a colleague.
Karen also came with her boys...they were so sweet and
Mauro had so much fun with his little cardboard ´house´.
My brother took some photos and scrapped it right away...


So yes, that´s what he´ll be getting for his B-day party

Ok back to the party...I got some money (well alot!), shower/
scrub/massge stuff, a sweet keychain, an tajine (for maroccan
stew dishes) and off course I already got my camera and bag.
But really the best one is yet to come...Yesterday morning
Karen was on msn...she had asked me last week what I wanted,
but really had no idea...So then she asked. Wich size and colour
athens crocs do you want?? Well, I was like...No!! you´re not
getting me those expensive things!! Well she is! So after 15
minutes I gave over and choose the pearl/grey ones. I´m really
so thankful and want to let you know Karen...You´re defenitly
the SWEETEST! I´m so gonna think of something awsome to give
you!! They will arrive in the mail in about a week or so! :-)

The guests came around 16:00 although a couple of them came
an hour too early and I was still not done with dressing and
making some foods. But ordered them to help me...LOL. I made
rice salad, chicken wings, egg rolls, watermelon salad, bread
with feta cheese and walnuts and soup. They loved and always
makes feel good, when they do. Some asked for my recipies,
will get them to you karen ;-) The last guest left at 23:00,
so yes it was a long night, but fun!!

It was great, but I´m glad it´s over..no more cleaning everything
up and no more worrying iof I had enough food...LOL. Well, that´s
just me! I had a couple of nights (weeks really) of bad sleep. But
slept in till 11:15 this morning...finally! Vacuumed and cleaned
the floor, scraped and just hung around!! Feels so good!! So here
I am blogging and since Abdel is going to the movies with some
friends I will stay here and scrap, scrap, scrap!!

On to W&W stuff!!
Did you hear the ladies from weeds & wildflowers decided to make
and collection with the three of them. What they will be doing
is this: picking a photo, and then they´re basically scrapbooking
that photo, as well as designing all the elements and papers that
go on that layout. Then, they are offering all the pieces of that
layout PLUS a QUICKPAGE in a small mini kit, and then also
throwing in our layout as an example.
They will be fast, fun and affordable, and will give them the
freedom to do all kinds of subjects and colors, and get more
products out to you and others all the faster. They´ve called
these mini kits the "Little Seeds Collection". If you wanna know

So Gina started on hers and really it´s not like an mini- kit!!
LOL, I´m so loving the colours and the awsome elemenst she´s put

Don´t you just love the colours...I fel in love with this kit
right away and knew I had the perfect photos for this! And
had so much fun making this one...well not as much fun as making
these photos...LOLOLOL!

Ok so another long post for me today!! That means I´ve spend too

It´s my birthday!!

June 8th 1982 I was born at 6:06...Yep, my quarter century
birhtday...LOL Got an big hug and some kisses from my sweety
this morning and went to work...When I arrived two of my
colleagues had decorated my chair and hung some other
decorations and felt like it was my big day, right away...
soooo sweet of them!

Also got a lot of sweet hugs & kisses from the kids!! My
colleague Nicolien brought all kinds of body goodies...so
together with her, all the kids, washed, scrubbed and
lotioned my feet. Lotioned my arms and legs and gave me
an facial mask! So cute and sweet of nicolien too! They
said I had to have an peacy soft skin for my big party
tomorrow! :-) LOL

It was so much fun...got home, my sweetheart made me dinner
and just came home from the last grocery shopping..finally!

So tomorrow is my big party and really, I´m a little nervous!!
I made all kinds of yummy foods and expecting guests at 16:00.
I´m really looking forward to it, but still need to do some
cleaning...I´ll say it again and again...I wish we had an made!
LOLOLOL!!!! I´ll tell you all about it when it´s over...:-)

We´re gonna move the pc right now to the other room... and folt
away two baskets of laundry...yoohoo :(

Oooh and I have so much things to do before my party this
saturday!! Anyone wanna come over here and help me out...LOL
Because I still need to make eggrolls, pastry things and
well if you know me...hihi. I always want everything to be
perfect!! We also still need to fold this pile of laundry,
vacuum and wash the floors... Ok, I lost it, but know there
is more to it!! friday night we´re gonna get the last grocery´s
and have to go to the turkish store tomorrow to reserve some
of their yummy breads. Those are the best!!
We´ll see how it all works out...

And then I really want to scrap some pages from the photos
we took sunday at our awsome, fun, great family day!! I think
I´ll try to make a couple after blogging. But let me tell &
show you what we did at our familyday...

We were expected there at 14:30 and after everyone was there we
all got something to drink and then this host started explaining
things about their orchard and all the games...It was so much fun!
We were split up to four groups and started the games, with 2
groups against eachother. Here are some of the games we did:
cherrypit spitting, nerve game, fruit memory, tree stem sewing
an tracor driving skill game, an estafette in the middle of the
orchard, crossbow shooting and lots more...we had a blast! And yes
I took some photos.....well, some?? Over 400...hihi, that´s just
me!! LOL I´ve made an couple of bundles :-)

Our sweet 2nd cousins Marijn & Eline...the youngest two cuties,
watching the little goats!






One of my older cousins Jody and I decided to go into the orchard
and snap some goofy photos...We were just with the two of us and
then suddenly all these little apples came to us...We thought they
were falling out of the trees, but no Abdel sneeked up on us and
trew them at us...Let me tell you, the whole day was fun, but
snapping this goofy photos...LOLOLOL!!


Ok two single photos left, one she snapped of Adbel & me and one with
all of the cousins...


And that only leaves me with two people I want to congratulate...
First is my sweet friend Cindy, today is her 4th birthday..Hope you´re
having a great day sweetie!! Second is Julie, cause today her blog
is offially one year old...yoohoo!! Juts keep them coming Julia!! :-)

Family day!!

Yes, today is our yearly family day!! This is the 2nd
year we´re having it. Last year after our sweet GM past
away I decided I wanted an family day every year. Everyone
loved the idea, since we all live somewhere else. Well not
like we live hours away from eachother though. But would
probably only see eachother with b-days and holidays...

So last year I organized this trip to the zoo and an fun
picninc. This year my aunt Thea said she was gonna organize
it and I´ve been looking forward to this for months! We´re
going to this fruit-orchard and have a BBQ after worths.
At the orchard we´re gonna play the fruit-games. Haven´t got
any idea on what we´re going to do (well really, I do!! LOL),
but I know it´s gonna be fun!! Well actually it was suppose
to be an suprise, but my aunt had put the adress where we´re
going in the email. And off course I couldn´t resist and
googled for it...LOLOLOLOL! So the fruit-games..I do know a
couple of things I saw on the site...cherry-stone spitting,
fruit-race, tree-trunk sawing and some other things! We´re
leaving here in 2 hours and so can´t wait!! off course I´m
bringing my new camera and will take lots of photos! :-)

pancake party
Last friday we had an little pancake party at one of my
colleague´s. Her daughter Rosanne had ask me to come over for
so many times now, but with them moving and all it just had to
wait...So friday was the day! Rosanne came to me like every
hopur reminding me we´re gonna go home with them. Well, we
had a great time with her family and 4 other colleagues. She
was so happy and so cute. I thought I would be home at 20:30,

This is Ruben, my colleague´s little boy and my big friend:-)
He goes to my group at daycare and is always so happy. When
something goes wrong...there´s this small tear on his face...
but in about 5 sec. this big smile turns on there!!

Rosanne, such an sweetie...Here she´s showing off how great she was
at riding her bike. Almost 4 and already riding without side wheels!

They have so may talented ladies over there and saw this call
after I bought some of their great stuff...two alpha´s and Ida´s
crayon doodles!I had those in my kaboodle for a while and
had to have them, b/c they are on SALE now ladies...yup, 20% off!!

weekend things
Besides scrapping, I cleaned the house for my upcoming b-day party
next saturday and got a lot of groceries. I invited everyone to
come over an have a little dinner kind of thing. So I already made
a couple of things and freezed it in. Still have to make a lot more!
When I´m trowing a party, it´s gonna be great...LOL, Ok I hope!! :-)

I also scrapped another page for W&W, with a photo of karen´s little
boys Milan & Mauro and the roughing it kit from Patricia. It´s so
cute and was so glad karen gave me this photo...It looks so great
