Nothing much...(enabler)

Well, had my weekly day off and been real busy...
Cleaned the house...ok just a little part! :-)
Went to the city and bought 2 new pants and an cute
white summer sweater. Got some grocery´s, did my
volunteering reading at both family´s...uhhm, oh
and went to the doctor...

Ok so this is what the doctor said...
Well she said it would probably be from working with kids.
Having this all year long cold, but on the other hand she
did wanted to give me some blood tests for allergies, like;
hay-fever, dustmites, cats & dogs, that kinds of stuff...
Since I´m kind of scared for needles, I asked her to check my
cholesterol level too. Because we have heredity cholesterol
in our family and need to check that every year. I know I´m
only (almost) 25, but they want me to! I don´t mind, but since
I have to go anyway, let´s do it all at once! :-) So I´m going
to take those tests next wednesday since I have to be sober for
the cholesterol test, but on the other hand I can always go before
I go to work...mmmm, I´ll sleep about this..LOL!

Yessss, I did that too today and online digishopping that is!!
Abdel told me to put some extra money on my paypal for my B-day,
so sweet of him...I usually only have 25$ a month, but now I´ve
got some extra to spend!! Yoohoo...I don´t want to spend it all
at once. Especially since I heard, I will be getting an email
with coupons from DST...from some awsome designers. So I´ll wait
for that, but here are a couple of things I just had to have...

don´t have to buy these...LOLOLOLOL!!!

I fel in love with these right away, they were in my kaboodle for
a couple of weeks and couldn´t resist...I´m so into grids these

scrapbookgraphics...Only bought the 2nd part, but will be getting
the first part too. Hopefully there´s an sweet coupon to Merediths
store in the mail...hihi. Cause I´ve got a lot more of her stuff
just waiting to be bought in my kaboodle...LOL

Well that´s it for shopping today...Oh no...I also boguth an vote
for this weeks Queen of the crop challenge...Loved this one the
first time I saw it in the DST gallery...such an amazing job Angie
(Angelbq)did here...What do you think...just awsome right?? :-)

I thought this would be an short post, but I guess I just can´t
do that!! LOL. I always think I don´t have a lot to tell you and
always end up with this huge post...LOL. Well ladies hope you don´t

I´m off, hopping on the train and still need to visit my blog
community friends...have a great day/eve! Won´t be here till hopefully
friday or saturday. Got an softball match tomorrow and we haven´t
lost a game this season...So we´re all ready to be winners...hihi

you, some baby boy news and my weekend story!!

Remember my last post and the LO of my colleague???
Well, she was due last friday and today....yes, she gave
birth to this adorable little boy!! I´m so happy for her
and her family...So off course as the curious one I am I
had to see him!!! This morning at 4:45 she went into labor
and at 7:40 he was born...At 10:15 she called me from the
car that he was born and they were already heading home...
What this quick?? Well her first one, was born 6 weeks too
early and they had to stay in the hospital for three days.
So yes, it all went perfect....Wanna see this cutie!!!!

Weekend ramblings
Well let me tell you, we´ve been very productive. To be
honest, we´re kind of lazy these past couple of months. We
did clean, but didn´t clear away...well a lot of stuff!! Like
papers, the room next to the living room and the shed downstairs.
The last one was really a mess!!! We couldn´t even walk in there!!
LOL. We threw away 3 garbage bags and have a lot of rubbish that
needs to go to the big dump!! I arranged the truck from my dad´s
bussiness and will go there next saturday. My little brother is
gonna help us out, since we also have this big, heavy sleeping
bench. And that thing is just an stand-in-de-way and really when
someone is spending the night herem, they never sleep on that
thing!! And it´s too heavy for me to take it down 6 stairs.
Cause sadly we live on the third floor, with no elevator!! I´m
so glad he has time to help us out. We probably need to drive
twice, with all that stuff!! We´ll see! I´ve also cleaned all
the windows and organized all the papers and the big closet!

Haven´t done any fun stuff this weekend, but that´s ok!! I´m so
glad we took care of all this stuff, cause I really want my
whole house to be in order, with my birtday and summer coming up!
Yes, it´s my period too...so you´ll know, right?? LOLOLOLOL!!

Well think that´s it for now...Will be back tomorrow to visit my
little blog community, running out of time here and need to see

Nothing special!! Just some lo´s to show you, some
ramblings & my swan adventure...

the photographer is still at our daycare and let me tell
you she took some awsome photos. so adorable!! She brought
this little ´brum´ kind of car and an little motor. The
kids are so lovin´ it and so are we. She also took some
photos at the rocks in front of the daycare and some upon
an garment. The photo with my colleagues is so awsome and
really can´t wait till they are here!! yesterday she took
some photos of me, but didn´t like them at all!! Not her
fault, but the weather was a little foggy and the pose was
just not my style. So we´re getting another chance tomorrow!
We´ll see how that one turns out :-)

scary swans & their baby´s :-)
Ok, one more thing...Today was my weekly day off and when I drove
home from work yesterday I saw this swan family. A mom & dad and
their youngsters. people were walking by and they were blowing
(not sure how to say this right ;-)) at everyone who past them.
So I decided NOT to go there, they are just too scary when they
do that. So today I had set my camera up and decided to go there,
They were really quiet and I got really close too...Let me show
you, I got some awsome shots!! Aren´t hose little ones the cutest??




When I was done, two little boys came to post an letter...
but really they were too scared! The mailbox is right behind the
swans and they wouldn´t let you get any closer. We tried for
three times and then one of those boys almost started crying :(
So we waited for 2 minutes and then I just ran to the mailbox an
had put it in there!! Those little guys were so relieved I helped
them out...Those swans deserve and article in the newspaper!!!
Swan are terrorizing neighbourhood!!!! LOLOLOL!! :-)

That leaves me with nothing more to tell you, so I´ll just
leave it with this and spend some quality time with my

My long weekend that is :(

Well, we had a couple of days...but really a couple a more
wouldn´t hurt, right?? Haven´t done all the scrapping I wanted
but did made 4 pages...only four?? I know!! I wanted to make
like 10...but hey, been too busy with other fun things :-)

So after I slept in till 11:00 I started scrapping; made
two CT pages and an birthday card. Here´s the first page for

Ok so now for our day:-)
Today we had two birthdays...So after we had an delicious
crossaint breakfast we went to my cousins´ who turned 26.
We stayed there for like 1,5 hours...she lives in an student
appartment and isn´t that big, so it was kind of hot and a
little sultry. So I was really glad when we left, with my
cold it just doesn´t feel good!! Around 17:00 we went to my
aunties, she turned the big 5-0. She didn´t celebrate it big
time, since she never does. She always gives this big party
when she turns 44, 55..and always something fun!! Or whenever
she feels like it, and really this wasn´t it...LOL. She´s so
funny sometimes :-) After we brought my parents house my
little brother, his GF and the both of us went to....
Yoohoo, kentucky fried chicken...They´d never been there, I
really didn´t belive that and let me tell you..they loved it!!

So now we´re back home and Abdel is laying lazy on the couch,
so yes I had to blog a little...I won´t be here till probably
tuesday. Tomorrow after work I have softball practice and I
think I will be too tired to blog :-)

Every year an photographer comes to daycare to make portret
photos of the kids and us colleagues. We used to have this guy
who came for three days, but he was kind of expensive. So we
decided to try someone else for a change. She will be taking
photo all week long. Of the kids playing and posing. And she
will also be taking a group photo everyday. So yes, that means
I have to be pretty, all week long...LOL. It´s gonna be hard!!
No not really, but I usually just wear... well work clothes.
Like clothes that I don´t mind for getting dirty. So we´ll
she. I do have to get up a little earlier to blow dry my hair,
but that´s ok...If it´s just for one week...LOL.
We´ll see how she does it, if we´re not really statisfied, we´re
gonna try it ourselfs next year. Cause I think I would do good
at it. We take photos everyday, ever since I started us an
private photo-site. And now with my new camera...:-) We´ll see
next year!! :-)

So guess that´s it for now...Hope to see you back here on wednesday
and maybe even tuesday, depends on how busy I am...Cause I still
need to scrap a lot of pages...well need?? WANT!!! LOL

It´s going way too fast!!

Yes, these past couple of days are flying by!! Why??
There are still so many things we want to do, but luckily
we still have tomorrow left :-) We were suppose to go out
to dinner now, but we´re both really tired...and just
wanted to sit on the couch and watch an movie later on.
So I get a chance to write my blog, while Abdel is working
on dinner :-)

Friday musings
After some cleaning the house and doing laundry we went to
this outlet sale..It wasn´t great, but we found somethings;
I got 2 t-shirts and an really cool summer jacket and Abdel
bought 1 t-shirt. After that we went to my parents´ house
and got some grocery´s...well some, all of it! Went back to
my parents´ and had pizze there. Off course I had to try out
my camera in the garden and here are some shots I really love!



I really love the frog one..well, I have 6 of these :-) He
(or she) jsut sat their and pose for me..LOL

After dinner we went home and changed, b/c my little brother
invited us over to play some poker. Abdel had meet up with an
friend, so I went by myself...Nope, didn´t won, but had a lot
of laughs!!

What we did today...
After we slept in kind of late we went to get some little gifts
for the kids at daycare, because my colleague and I are celebrating
our birthdays on tuesday...Since she´s going on vacation on
wednesday and we always celebrate together, since her´s is a week
earlier then mine.

And then we went to ´Madame Tussaud´ in Amsterdam.
The place to meet & get up close to your favourite celebrities!!!
Well ok, their was statues that is...LOL. We haven´t been there
together. I think the last time I went, I was about 14/15 :-)
It was fun, but expensive and after an hour we were outside again.
But we did got a lot of fun pictures...I´ll show you my favorites :-)

Another W&W LO and fun stuff!
First the fun stuff, well it´s all fun but this is kind of big!
We have our own CT forum and it´s great!! They asked us for ideas
on what to put in it...So now we have; games, challenges, chit-chat,
an own layout-link section and more!! It´s great, got his email
from Chere telling us that we´ve had 200 posts everyday since it´s
open...The ladies are great and we come from all over the world!
But let me tell you something about Chere (cherekaye), she´s the
sweetest and runs the ct-things. She lets us in on the latest
things happening and her info is always very detailed. I´d already
met her on Sara´s board and elementals and now we´re in three CT´s
together :-) Talked to her on hello a couple of times and always
willing to help you out, she rocks!! :-) :-)!!

Those sweet designers from W&W asked us to do a little challenge
and scrap an all about me page...I love those, but always having
a little trouble what to do now...Cause I made like 5 of those
and really want an other theme and title everytime...But that´s
just really hard! I started on one yesterday morning and had an
great idea, although it really didn´t turn out the way I wanted.
So I asked for some advice on the forum and got some great ones.
So when I wanted to change it, a whole new idea just mojo-d into
me...LOL. And started on another one...so here´s the final deal!!


I really love how this turned out and the colours of this collection

Ok sweeties, dinner is almost finished and maybe I´ll start on another
LO after...Got plenty of photos made these past couple of days, waiting

Finally time to scrap!!

Ascension day
Ok, people...I´m having a couple of days! Today is/was
my weekly day off and had so much fun!! But first let me
tell you, why I don´t have to work until monday..yoohoo!!
Tomorrow is Ascension day and everybody is free of work,
well most are except for the furniture and garden stores.
And well since there´s only Friday left for this week, we
both decided to take an extra day off!! We really need it!

Abdel wants some sort of job change!
Let me tell ya, Abdel has been so buys at work these past
couple of weeks and is really tired of his job. A couple
of his colleagues are also really done with this business.
There is just too much work and too little people to do it!
Last week two of his colleagues foudn another job and quit.
Well they still have two months to go, but Abdel really
likes those guys! About an year ago, they all said: well if
you are leaving I am too. One of his friends offered him a
joba couple of weeks ago, but he said no. Now he´s kind of
sorry he didn´t accept it. But on the other hand, he now
has an permanent contract and since we want to buy an house
at the beginning of next year, we really need that!! I´m
so sorry for him and have really no idea on what to do now.
So that´s one thing we´re gonna discuss these days and hope
we´ll make the best decision!!

Today I went: Shopping, shopping, shopping!
A couple of weeks ago, my GM asked me to go shopping with her
and my cousin Sylvia since both of our birthdays are coming
up. Our sweet GM always takes us shopping and get us something
we really want...So off course I´m going, LOL! We went to
Amersfoort, about half an hour drive for where I live. It´s an
great place and they have all the stores you can think of and
Sylvia never went there before...Let me tell she didn´t know
what she was missing...LOL. I love it there and when we really
want a long day of shopping, we always go there!
My GM bought S an diaper bag, since she´s also pregnant with her
first baby and she really wanted that one. I wanted a bag for my
camera...No not an ordinary camera bag, cause I hate those simple,
boring, black bags...LOL. I wanted a special one, but no idea what
kind. So I think we went in & out all the bag/suitcage stores
there...Finally my GM said: please babe, make up your mind!! LOL
So I found this awsome Oilily bag. I know it´s not an camera bag,
but fell in love with it right away :-) Wanna see??


Cute huh?? I´m so loving it and has everything I wanted!!!
We had lunch at this cute little place and had a yummy bagel
with carpaccio & cream cheese. Off course did some more shopping!
I needed an new showe gel and went to the ´rituals´ store...I
love all their special products. I bought myslef this ´hammam
shower foam´. It´s what they use in arabic hammams to scrub and
wash and makes your skin feel like silk. It´s so good. I also
got this for one of my other cousins and an tasty tea, since
she´s celebrating her birthday on sunday. I also bought S an
sweet gift for the baby: and cute little pj´s and an matching
? (little suit you were over the diaper and under clothes..LOL)
Some couple of little things for me and last but not least a
new pair of summer shoes...they are so cute!!

Really we have...NONE!! Just relaxing and finally get some CT
stuff and other scrapping done...Oh and take lots of photos with
my new camera!! Almost forgot to tell you I also bought an memory
card for my camera today...yoohoo :-)

mothersday, W&W news, Canon & more...

First I´ll start with today....

Mothersday
We slept in kind of late and after we had breakfast, I
made some brownies for my mom. Already made her a
scrap/card and also had made a little tile with my hand
on at work :-) LOL. Just like the kids did for their
moms...Do you like it Karen?? :-) Also told my mom I´m
gonna pay her ticket when we´re going the see ´The wiz´
on July 18th...We went to our sweet GM and had dinner
at my parents´ house...and now I´m here blogging away!!

My new camera
OMG,´I´m so in love with this thing...Like I told you I
bought the Canon EOS 400D, with an 17/55 object and an
55/200 object. It´s awsome. However I didn´t buy and scan-
disk at the store, since it was really expensive and my
little brother knows someone, who sells them a lot cheaper.
So tomorrow he´s getting one for me!! Also for my birthday,
sweet huh?? And it isn´t till June 8th... :-)

WEEDS & WILDFLOWERS...NEWS; NEWS; NEWS!!!
Have you heard the big news yet?? Gina from W&W made her
first collection and it´s huge!!!!

And then there´s even bigger news, They will be selling
their awsome kits over at scrapartist, starting today!!

About the collection...The Celebrating Color Collection has
been over a month in the works! Made up of 8 seperate kits,
these pieces are all made to work together to give you the
proverbial toolbox of color (and neutrals) that you will
need for any page. Each kit contains 6 beautifully textured
papers, and also includes ribbons, stickers, frames, buttons,
badge buttons, stitching, painted doodles, and alphabet, and
more! Not everything that is contained in the kit is visible
on the preview - Gina has STUFFED them full of goodies!

They gave us three kits to work with for now and after we´ve
finished the LO´s for those, they´ll get us three new ones.

My new voluntary project
Over here they´ve started a new program, it´s especially
for foreign family´s. In school those kids most of the times
have an arrear in speaking and writing. Because most of the
family´s speak their first language at home; such as turkish,
moroccan, spanish or whatever. And let me tell you, I know all
about this, since Abdel is moroccan. His sister asked me for
advice lots of times...Because their oldest can´t get along with
the program. I knew he was going that way, since well, she´s not
clear to him. Sometimes she talks arabic to him and the other
time she talks dutch and ends her sentence in arabic, I told her
years ago that she needed to only talk dutch to him and let her
husband only talk arabic to him. That way both of the languages
should´ve made sense to him. But she wasn´t worried. Last week
she called, that his teacher said she had to do something about
it, well off course she wasn´t happy with what I said, but had
to be honest to her...maybe now she´ll understand what i´ve been
saying these past couple of years, right?? we´ll see about that!

Ok about that program (was getting a little to deep in it here...
LOL)...We´re suppose to read those kids for half an hour, once a
week. This should learn them to speak better, make better sentences
& to enlarge their vocabulary. So I´m gonna read over at my SIL
once a week and once a week at our neighbours...I´ve been there
last friday and they loved it...are you coming again tomorrow,
is what they asked... :-) Their mom told they never listen when
she reads to them, but friday...wow they were all in to it!!
That already gave me a great feeling... I've been thinking
about doing some voluntary work for a long time now and think
this is an great program...Those kids made me even more excited
about it!! So I think I'm doing a good thing here, right???

Ok believe me, I have more to say...LOL. We went to an turkish
wedding last night, but will leave that for tuesday!! :-)
Think I did enough talking for now...my posts are getting bigger
and bigger everytime...LOL!!

Gonna hop on the blog train real quick and visit the bloggers
from my little community!! We also have a movie to watch:'click'
and then off to bed...Got a busy day tomorrow, since we're having
an big softball game after work!! Hope I fell a little better,
cause I've got a sore throat and think I've caught a flu or

are too!!...Loved all the sweet comments and reactions
you ladies gave me. And I´m so happy I started this...
It´s gonna be awsome and so can´t wait to get to know
you all a little better. I would love to hear who´s
blog you´ve visited and what you really like about
their blog! I think it would be fun, to write a little
blog entry about that once in a while...Maybe you ladies
have some ideas too, on how to get this community going!

CANON EOS400D
June 8th is my birthday, I´m turning a quarter century, LOL!
And there is one thing I really want...My first DSLR. I´ve
been googling for a couple of months now and decided I want
the canon one. I did some comparisons, but this is IT!!!


So I saw a sale( wich includes and 55-200mm object) a couple
of weeks ago and told my parents about it and said they
needed to think about it. They´re not gonna pay the whole
thing though. But to be honest I don´t have the money to buy
it right now. I will be in two weeks, since we´re getting
our vacation money. But the sale ends next wednesday...
So tonight my mom called and told me.....YES, they wanted to
get it for me...TOMORROW that is!!
Another thing I´m so excited about and can´t will till it´s
morning. Usually I sleep on saturday and scrap for a little
while. Now I´m getting up a little earlier and no scrapping
for me till I get that camera!!! WOOHHOOOO!
Can you tell I´m excited?? LOL

Sweet!! USA chat
When I got home from work today I had put on my msn messenger
and checked my mail...after a little while, my cousins wife
Tanya came online, finally...LOL. I´ve added her a long time
agon and never saw her online. So off course I had to chat with
her!! Last October she gave birth to their incredibly cute little
boy Carter. He´s now 8 months old and already had two haircuts.
He was born with a lot of hair...let me tell you...A LOT of hair!
I miss them so much and we´re not able to visit them anywhere
this year. So I told Abdel to start saving up and then hopefully
will go see them next year!! I so loved chatting with her and
was great to hear how they and the little Carter are doing.
I asked her to send me some cute photos to scrap with. Can´t
wait to see them and how he´s changed...On the last photo he was
like 3 months old :-) I hope to see here more often on msn...

What leaves me with some little ramblings
No pages to show you, since I haven´t got time to scrap.
Last night we had this big, heavy meeting at work about our
manager and how things are going with her...I so would love
to talk about this, but even getting angry only thinking
about it...just let me say: she´s bad material!! And not
sure how long we can keep up with her and her behaviour!!

While writing my blog I have Karen (cloggie68) on msn, who

3 days in a row...

Yes, it´s me, again!! Yeah, today´s wednesday and you know
what that means right?? :-)

So here goes...MMMmm what was I gonna blog about, let me
think for just a sec...LOL! Oh right, kaboodle!! Ever heard
about it?? Well, let me tellyou ...you´ve got to have this
and the best thing...it´s free!! Let me tell you..If been
looking at a couple of things today, but sadly none of that
is free!!

I saw this at DST somewhere on friday, asking if people wanted
to list their kaboodle...their what?? Well as the curious
person I am, I had to check it out! You can make lists of
things you saw on the internet that you really want to have.
It´s like an online wish list! It´s so easy to use, especially
with the kaboodle toolbar and add things in a flash. Well
I had to have one and made two lists on there... a digiscrap
wishlist and an list with all the purchased items. It´s already
filled up with some yummy goodies!! Here check it out!!

On to the next thing...where I was searching for a couple of
things that aren´t free!! LOL. Last Monday Abdel called me at
work telling me there was this weird icon in our taskbar...
What turned out to be an spylocked virus...aarrgh! I hate
virusses and this one is BAD!! It hasn´t damaged anything yet,
but want to get rid of it as soon as possible. So when I woke
up I did some browsing for an spyware to delete this thing...
First they said it was a free scan and then when it found the
bad bug and I wanted to remove it...They send me to this site
and tell me to purchase to delete the files!! What?????
Over 6 programs gave me the same message...So actually I
spend like 1,5/2 hours searching for nothing!! I tried to
system restore, but that also didn´t help!! What next??
Really tell me...cause I don´t know and not feeling like buying
any of these programs!!

Ok last thing for today...Blogging!!!!
As you probably know I love blogging and also love to hop on
the blog train. I have this weird thing, that is that I always
leave love for everyone who posted before me in the train...
and to be honest...I ask myself many times, why I do this!!!
Cause really, from the 15/20 I left some lovin´ for only 2/5
return the favour!! I know it isn´t a rule of the blogtrain,
but really, I would appriciate it, wouldn´t you?? Just like
you leave a gallery comment for everyone who comment on you,
right?

And that´s why I decided to try something else...

Here´s what I had in mind: to start out a little community
for bloggers, who do love to leave some lovin´ & returning the
favour and also would love to have some regular visitors.
I just wrote and thread over at DST, wich you can find here

It´s simple Post your blog link in the thread and check out
the others on there...Maybe there´s someone just like you,

NSD part II

So here´s the 2nd part of all the things I did on NSD...
again, let me tell you, I´m so sad it´s already over!!
And can´t wait till next year...and decided to already
start saving up some extra cash...LOL. With all those
sales, you can´t have enough money, right?? :-)

First we had the ACDSee chat over at 3scrapateers and
got a chance to hand out some of their products. We gave
away 2 photo editor´s, 2 photo manager and 1 pro. We had
such an blast and as I already knew the community over
there is great and ladies are all lovely!! Connie, Chris
and I had a blast!! And would love to go back there next
year!!

After soem shopping there was a chat at the sweet shoppe,
with all the new babes and designers and so off course I
went there to support my lovely Sara Amarie...Yes she also
made her debute there on NSD...and also brought out her
new stuff...let me show you!!


Her newest kit sweet Chloe (named after her youngest girl)
I love the colours and the elements in here are just so lovely!!

She has also put in a add-on kit to her Natalie kit (named after
her oldest girl) The first part of this kit is in the sweet
shoppe quarterly assortment 2 and let me tell you it´s awsome!!


Together with some of her lovely element packs and the natural
collection, you can view her store over here!!

During the chat they asked all kinds of questions about the new
ladies and off course I knew Sara´s and so I won a one month
subscription to Disc talk radio...how cool is that?? Especially
now with that awsome kit of Robin Carlton!! Thanks sweet shoppers!

Did some more shopping, chatted and browsing all the digi forums.

When I woke up on Sunday I HAD to scrap with some of my new
supplies! Here are two (of 3) and I love how these came out!
First is one of my colleague´s little boy Max eating his yummy

I scrapped this photo about 1,5 weeks ago, but really wanted to

So you probably want to know how my day at work was???
Well, it was great and no code RED today...LOL. Everything
had been fixed and all back in bussiness. We got a lot of
questions from parents...Since thet had read it in the
newspaper...yes, news travels fast!! But were all happy it
turned out ok.

There´s one more thing I want to tell you before I leave and
also want to let you know...I will be back tomorrow!!

I just recieved an email to join colorlinedesigns May/June´s
guest CT. Natalie Bird & Kellie Puddy have some lovely designs
in their store...You have to check out colorlinedesigns

So, now I´m offially done talking about NSD, but no promiss
here I´m really done talking about it...LOL. Tomorrow I want
to tell you about kaboodle. I just found out about it last
friday, but let me tell you, I´m already addicted!!

BTW, still no news from Marcie reckinger´s CT Call...I so hope
I get in!!...love ALL her stuff, and have you seen that her curled
border are gonna be featured at disctalkradio?? So awsome...Gonna
check out her blog now and see if there might be some news :-)

OMG where do I start??

I know it´s been almost a week, but so much things going
on and had a lot of catching up to do...I think I might
split everything I have to tell you in half...LOL. First
part now and the 2nd tomorrow!!

I´ll start off with todays happenings. As ussual on a
Monday I went to work..around 9:30 (fruit time for the kids)
I found out I had a couple of missed calls and saw I had
a voicemail...It was Karen (cloggie68) with some awsome
news....

She told me I got accepted for Weeds & Wildflowers
CT...What?? me?? This is just fantastic news!!!
And then another voicemail from Karen...telling me I won
Michelle Martin´s store...YES the whole store!!
It´s my lucky day today...Ok, Today is MY DAY

I just couldn´t believe and had to see for myself...So I ask
our administrator if I could check my mail and off course
DST...And yes, then I saw this announcement I got
accepted out of 246 talented ladies...I´m so honored and have
no words for it..it´s totally freakin´ awsome!!
The of the look for Michelle´s thread...Yes it is me!!!!

How can this be?? and all happening in one day!! This can´t
be good!!

Well let me tell you, my day got a little hectic after that..
When I got back from my break and my colleague had hers,
she got back in like 15 minutes...telling me we had a code RED,
wich means we had to evacuate the daycare!! Oh no!! Oh yes...
someone smelt gass and found out there was this small gassleak
in the supply den. So we had to get all the kids out of bed
and get them a little dressed, since it was kind of cold and
raining. It´s been like almost summer weather the last couple
of weeks..but NO, today we had heavy rain!!! So everyone out
of bed and holding on to the evacuation rope and off to the
elementary school behind the daycare. The little ones went
with us in a little crib with wheels...The fire department
was on the way...We stayed there for like 1,5 hours till one
of our managers told us we could go back. It was all kind of
scarry, especially for the kids.
But we made it..they shut off all the gass pipes and someone was
on his way to fix it all...So nothing really bad happended!!!

But that didn´t hold me back from still being the happy
me after all the awsome news I heard today!! My colleague told
me I was smiling ALL day long!!! LOL

Ok on to the next subject...National scrapbooking day!!!
I´m a little sad it´s over, especially with al those awsome
sales, chats and challenges going on in the digiworld...
(I will be getting back on this big event tomorrow!!)
I took weeks before it was finally here and was over in a
flash. I did buy some awsome stuff and will show you a couple
of things I bought. But let me tell you..I didn´t have enough
money to buy it all!! I totally forgot to put some extra
money on my paypal..And over here it takes like a week to get
it on there...but hey, will make sure I have enough money
next year...LOL! So here goes...

First I found this cute kit by Shabby Miss Jenn for only 1$,
so I had to buy it off course...


Then I went over to the sweet shoppe...I was looking for
some graphic papers and found these awsome ones by Christy
Lyle...
I also bought Robin Carlton´s doo-dots

Off to the lily...Ok let me tell you, I bought too much...
So here are two things I just had to have, both from Natalie
Braxton...Her awsome really big ribbons

Oh no, those weren´t the last...I promiss only one more and

I also bought some stuff from Michelle Martin, Amy Martin,
faith True...and some others I just can´t remember!! LOL
But will stop with all the enabling right now!!! :-)

I was suppose to have an softball game tonight, but it got
cancelled because of all the heavy rain. Lucky me, else I
didn´t have a chance to write here today!! So as I said
earlier in this post...I WILL be back tomorrow...HUGS!!

Ok for my day...I managed to finish two pages today, and also
made one last night! This photo editor keeps amazing me and it´s
sooooo fast!! I´m never gonna get rid of it ever! I still use my
PSP X, sometimes...like when I want to use some of the actions I
bought, if not...acdsee´s photo editor is my new additction!

Here´s the first...This is Cindy, my online friend. We met like
two years ago, somewhere on msn spaces. She such an sweetheart and
I can so relate with her in all sorts of areas. She also works in
a daycare... We talked about meeting up too often, but we still
haven´t seen eichother in real life. It´s ago though, but really
need to make an appointment real soon!! You hear me girl! :-)

I also have some exciting news to tell you...Sara Amarie...
Has joined the SWEET SHOPPE, how cool is that?? And I´m so
honored to move with her. I love that site and the community
is so great! The announcement is already out, but she´s making
her debute on May 5th...yes, this saturday...yes, on National
scrapbooking day!! I so can´t wait!!

So her are two pages for her CT...This is her newest kit ´Sweet
Chloe´(named after one of her little girls). I love the springy
colours and all the lovely papers! Can´t show the preview yet,
but I can show you my creations!



The 1st one, is my colleague´s little girl Rosanne...the 2nd
is also the daughter(the one on the right) of another colleague
and her little friend. Cute huh?

I haven´t only been productive with scrapping...I´ve also cleaned
my whole balcony. windows, floor, borders, everything! Since it´s
been really hot for like two weeks now, I had to be done! We wanted
to BBQ last week, but it was so dirty, I said no! So when I got home
sunday, Abdel already started cleaning all the chairs and the table.
Yesterday I bought some new brooms & a dragger, since we got rid of
the old ones a couple of weeks ago. So now it´s all done, only a
little bare...Since it´s missing some flowers and decorations.
All the flowers from last year weren´t that pretty anymore, so I
threw it all away today! Planing on getting some new stuff next week
and I´ll show you after it´s done!

Also did some grocery´s and making dinner right now...We´re having
beef shanghai! Abdel won´t be home for half an hour, that is like
20:00. They are so busy at wednesday and the last couple of weeks
it´s getting later and later...he so hates it!! Luckily his work
is moving at the end of this year to a bigger space and hopefully
his boss takes on a couple of extra workers!!
