productive day, finally!

wow! Have we been lazy these past couple of weeks...
I love having a big appartment and all this space, but
boy do I hate cleaning!! Sometimes I wish we could afford
a made..well sometimes?? ALL the times..:) LOL
Yesterday Abdel had his day off and cleaned up all the papers
and other things laying around the whole house. Today I
almost finished the job! I cleaned up everything, wipped
away all the dust I could find! Cleaned the whole kitchen,
living room and bedroom...Also vacuumed the whole house
and must say I feel great about myself!! The only thing
that´s left to do is wash the floors. But it is so much, I
decided that is a weekend job :-))) No more for today!

I also backed up a lot of kits today. I have like 20 older
cd´s, with stuff I rarely use. But all the stuff I bought
this pas half year I hadn´t. I thought I have an EHD now, so
I don´t need to...Last night I had this awful dream, my whole
pc crashed with my EHD!! Yes, a terrible dream!!! So when I
woke up, I started right away...I made 5 cd´s, but those are
only my favorite kits. I still need to do, all elements, fonts,
templates, paper packs and fav. designer kits! Wich is a lot I
can tell you...LOL! But the beginning is there, right?

With all these stuff I did today I even had some time for
scrapping...lucky me! Sunday my parents got home from Bonaire
an off course I had to see the pictures right away! Well, that´s
me...and my dad proudly showed them. They are all awsome!! It´s
a beautiful country...All I could say was..WOWsers!
They went to a wedding from friends. He is a good friend from my
dad and she works for my dad. How great would it be to get married
over there!! They also had a photographer and she made an website
for them with all the photos...It was a beautfil wedding and the
photos are lovely! I told them I´m gonna make a two pager of the
wedding...My dad also took some photos while they were on the beach.
This one photo, made my drewl...hihihi. I emailed it to myself and
made a page today...So lovely with that sunset!! Just awsome!!

And there was the Carnaval parade on Saturday...I wanted to post this
yesterday, but was too tired. It was fun and our little cousins loved
it!! The parade wasn´t as big as last years, but it was ok! I didn´t
took a lot of photos, but here are a couple...





Also celebrating carnaval at daycare...Yesterday we had soooo much fun!
They kids were all dressed up very sweet...we had : a little clown, some
princesses, a cute little frog (so sweet, she´s only 10 months old and so
cute), a little minni mouse, a pilot and a pirate...just like me :)))
Yes, I also was dressed...if they are...I am!! LOL. I painted all their
faces in the afternoon and walked over a catwalk, wich me made from our
tables...So fun! Tomorrow is the last day and can´t wait to see what they
are dressed like...I know we are gonna have a peter pan tomorrow...Wish
I could show some pics. but not allowed to...but that´s ok ;)

That´s it for today..off to do some more scrapping! Oh no, Fiancé just
called he is one his way, bummer. Well, I´m gonna get started on dinner

Valentine, CC, Carnaval, back pain and more....

We didn´t do anyhting with valentine...March 4th we´re together
for 5 years and are going out to dinner then. But kinda sad
really, Ok, I didn´t expect anything...but hey maybe he loves me
so much he would still bring something home or a nice card always
does the trick..but no, sadly no! But that´s ok...:))) lol!

Maybe you saw my thread at DST; ´all those sales and I can´t buy´!
So frustrating....Wednesday I filled up my shopping cart over at
scrapartist, but when I tried to checkout...here it comes...
PAYPAL doesn´t work...WHAT??? WHY NOW???
It said something is wrong with your creditcard....NOOOO!!
So I called the bank, and they told me the card is expired...What??
They will be sending a new one in a couple of days...But you hear
lady: I need it NOW!!!
I was so mad, but couldn´t do anything myself, right? So I´d send
an PM to Michelle Coleman and you wouldn´t believe this...so sweet!!
She gave me a coupon for 25% off, for when I get my new CC...She
totally made my day!! Yoohoo!! She is so awsome!! And I´m so delighted
I can still get my shoppingcart contents!! Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!!!!!

Yesterday I stayed home from work...Thursday I turned over to my
colleague and my back refused and gave me this huge pain...I couldn´t
sit and walking is terrible!! When I woke up I couoldn´t get up, so I
stayed home, been in bed the whole morning, but just couldn´t lay down
anymore...I needed something else to do for a while and went to check
out the new posts on DST, finding out that there were more sales on the
roll, that mde me wrote my thread..;) been at the pc for an hour and
made an LO and went back to bed and watched some tv. I just hate laying
in bed, especially when I NEED to! :)

My Fiancé ( I think 12 yrs old at the time) and his oldest brother,
who still lives in Morocco...By Fiancé had this picture for a while and
it was hanging on the wall in our hall...I loved this photo the 1st time
I saw it, and still do....Like how this turned out!!

After dinner I felt much better...but still wasn´t all that!! My brother
had this party with friends and wanted us to come too! But babe I said,
nope no whining, he said...just come over here!! So we went for an hour
or so. It was pleasant, but felt guilty for going outside!!! That´s me :)
After we got home, I´ve made another LO, just couldn´t resist :)

This weekend and upcoming week is CARNAVAL...Not sure if you ever heard of
it, but it´s fun!! (And poor me, needs to stay inside this weekend!)It
starts on the 11th of November, when all the city´s choose they carnaval
prince or princess. This weekend all the people have celebrate, get dressed
up in all different suits and characters. Today there´s this big parade
with big floats and a lot of music...here are some pics. from last year to
give you an idea of Carnaval....


This monkey is our character of the city IJsselstein, it´s always the first
float to begin the parade...we´re called monkey-city :)


This is the float of my frined/colleague Marjolein and her party of friends,
theme ´Tirol´. All these floats get pulled by an tractor




Every party has their own theme and the best and most orignal one gets a
price:) I really want to go, but since I stayed home yesterday, I don´t
think I can...:( The parade is starting in 1,5 hour...arrrghh!

That´s it for now...think I´m gonna scrap a little! I really wanted to
sleep in, but one of the neighbours woke me up. With banging with an
hammer and making too loud noises...That´s the bad part from living in
an appartment building! Lucky us, we live on the top floor :)

nothing much :)

Nothing much going this week, except for working and
softball practice...However, we had an great evening
today. Since my parents are on vacation, I asked my
little brother and his GF Kiki to come over for dinner.
And so they did, I fixed us a great and delicious
indonesian meal and they loved, as usual :)
I started early, since I had my weekly day off...
Around two I´ve put it all up on the fire, so it would
be extra yummie...:) I even made this much the boys
both have something to bring to work tomorrow...
They are both very pleased!! I even had a little for
myself...Well that´s what I thought, but when I just went
in the kitchen to put everything in a bowl for my sweet-
heart, he had put everything in the bowl..just for him!!
yes, without thinking about me or asking me...arrgh!!
Now>>> he´s a little pissed, cause he doens´t want to share,
men!! he still has enough and now he says, That I´m mad...
For real, you got to see his face right now...hahahah.
Well, I´M not MAD, but....Whatever!!!
After dinner we watched a movie, but it wasn´t all that,
but ok...We also played some poker and off course Melvin
won..:) He took 8 euros from us..LOL

For the rest of the day, I made an LO and Organised my EHD
a little and think I´m half way now...But it´s too much!!!
I didn´t even knew I had this much kits and elements...wow!
But hey, when it´s all done and organized with ACDSee, I´ll
be happy and will probably use all the stuff more:)

Finally weekend!!

I thought this week would never end!!! But finally it did!

As from wednesday night I´m an official ergo-coach with diploma
and all:) I made it! Now I have to watch my colleagues and
work with them for a better work environment...
Also had a parents-night on tuesday and worked out great! They
all loved our video we made with the st. nicolas party at daycare.
Had a little challenge and also had some propositions we wanted
there opinion about...It was fun!

On thursday we finally had some snow...yeah for real, some:)

behind our appartment.They are kind of dark, but ok...

they are so awsome and find myself using them over and over:) She
also made some photo clusters, wich I think I have to get too!! :)

Haven´t scrapped anything this week, so I think I´ll have to catch up
this weekend...

My parents left yesterday to the sunny Bonaire, I wish I could go!!
But hey, some people need to work, huh. They are going to a wedding
on wednesday...Wouldn´t that be awsome to get married over there?? :)
I´m so jealous..lol. They are staying there for 10 days, so my little
brother asked if he could come over for dinner some time...Off course
he can...he´s such an sweety!!! Reminds me to call him if needs any
grocery´s or something...hang on...Nope he´s fine, he said: babe, I can
get it myself...lol

Just a little chit-chat and have to tell you some enable

Just to let you know, I´m still not smoking:) It´s going ok!
I´ve got a real busy week... Last night I had an exacting
sotball practice, the coach really made us work:) but felt
great when i got home. Today I have my weekly day off and
planning on some scrapping later on, but had to do this first!
Tonight we´re having the parent-night at daycare, were we´re
gonna watch the film we made with the st. nicolas party...Hope
they are gonna love it! Tomorrow after work I have the last
ergonomic (?) class and then I´ll be an ergo-coach. I need
to advise my colleagues how they can do their job the best,
like how to lift the kids and other heavy stuff. How to act
when they have like back problems and stuff like that! I
think it´s very good to do that, but this class it kinda hard
too...but I think I´m gonna make it:)

Friday my parents are going to the sunny bonaire...Some friends
are getting married over there and invited them to come...Sure
they are!! They are staying for 10 days...a little vacation:)
I wish I could go too :( The cold weather over here...But hey
some people need to work, huh! If I´m feeling ok thursday night
I´m gonna go over there..but already wsihed them a good trip
sunday.

Some enabling, I wanted to show you this weekend, but been too
busy!! A week ago I got this PM at DST from Toni Berman...she
and her CT were stalking people to aks them to join her guest
CT team...But sadly didn´t got picked..but that´s ok! She also
couldn´t believe I didn´t got stalked:) She told me she loves my
gallery! And made my day by saying that...So Toni suprised with

I also read that Dani Mogstad had some things on sale over at here

Roundup, LO´s and new stuff!

Ok...something new here...the roundup :)
I saw this at Katie´s (the scrapbook lady) blog and tought
it was fun to try this out..Mine isn´t that special as hers,
but posting anyway...lol here goes:

What books and/or magazines did I read this month?
I finished up this book called: quit smoking by Allen Carr.
And also I quit smoking, nasty habit!! :)

What movies and/or tv shows did I watch this month?
Hhm, a lot of shows: CSI, friends, bones, shark and also
Saw house for the first time…awsome show!

Movies: last holiday with queen Latifah, drumline
with Nick Cannon, cookout, johnson family and some others
that were probably not really fun, lol! As you can see we´re
all into comedy films lately, since we bought a lot of them,
when the videostore had a close-out sale!

What special days did I celebrate and how?
newyear´s year we stayed with my parents, but not much of
a celebration...Had brunch with our family and played some
cards.

My sweet GM´s birthday…she cooked Indonesian food
For the whole family, wich was delicious as always :)

What gifts did I give and/or receive?
I gave my mom and GM a picture of us from our vacation
yo Morocco...They already got the frame with Christmas, but
the photo needed to be resized.
I also got my mom an excersize ball, when she saw mine
she said she also wanted one and so I´d send Abdel to
the store on his day off to get her one :)

What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
A cold, but having that the whole year trough…working
with kids huh! But I think it´ll pass as soon as I feel better
after quitting on the sigarettes, feeling better everyday!

I also felt much better after visiting the doctor who advised
me to go talk with someone about these anxiety feelings and
I did! When I had this appointment I already felt a lot better..
not sure why or how this happened...but made me feel stronger!
She did advised to come and talk to her at least onc...Also
because of the fact I was quitting smoking...We´ll see after
the next timeif I still need to go see her more often!

What fun things did I do with my friends and/or family?
Abdel and I went to the zoo, since we both had a week off of work.
Went for a drink with some friends, since we really needed to
catch up talking :)

What new foods, recipes or restaurants did I try this month?
New recipe: well all the ingredients were in a box...LOL. It was
a family dish, fusilli paste with Swedish meatballs with tomato-sauce
and broccoli (?) Veggie)

Also went to my favorite restaurant, nothing new but this place
is just amazing!! If I could take you, I would!! It´s the best!!

What were this month's disappointments?
I don´t think there were any??

What were my accomplishments this month?
QUIT SMOKING..lol. If I haven´t said it enough...:)
Finished 22 LO´s...go me! Wich reminds me I still wanted to
set a goal for this year...Hhmm I´ll think about this!

Anything else noteworthy to record?
Nope don´t think so...I think the quitting smoking part...
is the BEST!!

Friday I had this appointment with my boss about my function...
and she was nothing but positive...My enthusiasm, my creativity,
the way I am with the kids and some other stuff! So I was really
pleased...It was so normal kind of..I forgot to tell Abdel, till
now...LOL Uuhm, sweetie...my conversation went perfect...´Ok
sweetie, I knew it would be´..Thanks babe!! :)

Today I went to Milan birthday party...Karen´s son.
His 3rd birthday party...I never told him I was coming so he was
really surprised:) He stood there by the door, just watching me..lol
He´s so sweet!! She´ll probably show me the pics. tomorrow and will
post some on her blog :) It was fun karen, thanks for the invitation!!
Oh and the cake was yummy yummy!!

Went home were Abdel fixed us spaghetti and had dinner...And here
I am, that just leaves me with two LO´s...One made today and the other
is from last night.

The non-smoking and Enable alert!!!

But 1st my meez...:) Saw this last night at the DST forums
and had to make one myself!! Here´s my homepage

Yoohhoo!! I quit smoking!! Look at how happy I am..:)))

So, yeah I still haven´t smoked and feeling great!! The only thing
that´s killing me at the moment, is that I don´t sleep at night :(
Since the day I quit, I´m up all night long...yesterday I slept for
1,5 hours and today....yeah, I´ve only been up for 2 hours and slept
trough the rest of the night...So starting to feel better and better!!
Abdel had read the half book now, and is telling me he has the same
feelings as me, when I was that far...so I think it´s also gonna work
for him. He already smokes a lot less, since he can´t smoke in the
house anymore and it´s kinda cold outside:) LOL
Some moments during the day, I feel like I want to smoke...most of
the times right after lunch or dinner...But when I brush my teeth the
feeling is all gone...so I never leave the house without my toothbrush
:) Als chewing a gum, does the tric:)

Wowsers!! My paypal over-worked today and I even haven´t visited
Gina´s 6 months´ birthday bash...Everyone knows it´s here!! I you
haven´t seen or heard about it..check it out here There was this real
fun LMAO thread at going on DST, before she opened her doors to
the new look and her big sale...It was hilarious!! So will be
checking that out, later on!

Really wanted to have some scrapping done today, but the time is
flying by...it´s already 16:45!! Nooo! I´ve just started with the big
chicken we´re eating tonight. I tought let´s suprise my sweetie with
a whole chicken from the oven:) So I´ll scrap tonight, I just HAVE to!

I also organised the ACDSee some more, and think I´m almost there...
It´s a lot of work, but when it´s done I know I´ll enjoy it!!

Karen told me about this site: netvibes... that´s awsome and off course
had to make my own...I started out with blogs, but since blogger is
acting a bit weird today, most of them didn´t work out! Will try again
tonight!

I still have problems with this stu*** FTP for Alma her CT, this thing
really don´t want to work with me!! It was fine, until A decided to re-
install the pc with this, what he thought was the newest windows
version (NOT). But hey, I decided to forget about this...
When in installed the filezilla FTP back on...I didn´t and still doesn´t
work!! It´s really making me sick..I posted a new topic at digiscrapinfo
and Heidi told me to get on hello, so she can help me out!! Hopefully
this is going to work...or else I´ll be really sad! Especially after
what Alma emailed today, if this isn´t gonna work out... I´m gonna be
real upset!!!! So I´m off now to talk to heidi...
