263: My poor old bloggie...

You feel neglected, right?? Well I totally understand and I'm so sorry! But really with my project 365 and scrapping in between I just didn't have any time. I did think about my poor ol' babe daily and feel so quilty. I'm going to try to do much better and keep it updated!!!

Of course in the time period of almost 3 weeks tons of things happened, but for now I'm not going to bother you with all of that! From all of the 20 pages I made these weeks I just want to show you a few of my faves...Here we go in particular order!

All of these got mentiones in the GSO thread at DST, isn't that awsome?? :) Oh are you also a little frustrated with DST, well I know I am...it has been slow, down for a bit and jsut no clue what's going on...Now my gallery looks really weird. Only if I view my complete gallery I see it how it should be...just a littl weird. They say they're working on going to a new server and hope things will be better after that. Now there's one more page I would like to show you and that is this one...

This is my colleagues' little girl Anouk, all 'springed' up...LOL. I decided I'm going to print this on canvas on 40x40 cm. I thought it would be fun to have 4, one of each season... since I already have a fall one and I truly love it. Now I just need to find the right photos for my winter and summer pages... Summer won't be a problem it's jus the winter one I'm a little concerned about, why didn't I think of this earlier and I could've made the perfect winter photo when we had snowfall...ah well!

In an hour we're going to the beach with my mom, dad, brother and his GF and going to enjoy the lovely beautiful, spring sun we had the last week. I just hope the sun satsy out, cause they said it would be hiding all day, but the good news is, it's OUT NOW!! :)

262: Has it been THIS long??!!

OMG my life has been crazy the past couple of week and well I'm so proud at keeping up my project 365 blog, I kind of forgot all about my sweet o' little bloggy here! I feel so bad!!! We've had a lot of sad events happening the past few weeks, but not feeling like going in to any details... I just hope that March will be a much better month for all of us and our family!

Haven't got any big news to share, except that we found our first house to buy. But nothing is certain yet, next week we're going to have a look at the house we saw on the internet and have got an appointment to get a mortgage on Monday night. So I hope this is going to be a dream house and of course that we can affort it! Since our money changed from the gulden to the euro everything has become more difficult and well the recession isn't making it any better!

On Thursday my sweet dad turned 55 and tonight we're having a sweet party for him! :) I'm going to make alittle pastry's in a bit and going to buy a present with my little brother this afternoon. Hope we can find something, cause really this guy already has everything! LOL

261: Happy valentines day!

Yeah people it's February 14th, the day of LOVE!! Do you have any plans for today or expecting a sweet gift from you guy?? Well to be honest I don't think I'll get something sweet this year! Although I wasn't expecting something last year and then my guy, totally surprised me with these beautiful roses!! So you can imagine I was a little shocked when the doorbell rang this morning, but it was 'just' my flash defuser I ordered two weeks ago! LOL. But that's ok...we're spending time together tonight and that is what really matters to me!

Antoinette asked me if we could babysit her cute boys...after talking about it with my guy, I said yes. We didn't have anything special planned anyway, cause we're celebrating our 7 anniversary of being together on March 4t. So Antoinette and her DH can go out to diner. I did however said yes under one condition and that is that they would make a yummy candle light diner!! LOL And well her DH said, YES! He doesn't wanted to say what it is, but I know it must be good! After we've tucked in the kids, we're going to watch a movie and just relax! It's been a rough week for my guy too!!

First his little brother was missing, but turned out he was in jail!! He went with one of 'friends' to pick something up and they got arrested since that guy had stolen goods in his car! My guy warned him for several times not to hang out with that guy!! Well I can tell you last saturday has been a LONG day! We've spend lots of hours finding him and talking to the police to find him. After two hours they located the place he was at!! But gladly he came back home on Sunday! Then on Monday...

His poor dad had some kind of stroke in his brains on Monday... he went to the hospital but they send him home that day. He needed to get back the next day for some tests, but nothing specific came out. Thursday he had another stroke and they kept him at the hospital, cause they wanted to observe him for the night...finally! He's on meds now and doing a little better, but they do want to keep him for a few more days. My guy, doesn't really wants to talk about it, or maybe doesn't even want me to see he's hurting, just hope his dad recovers soon!

So enough babbling...Today I have a lot of pages to show you... Most of them I made since I'm on A5D site creative team and having so much fun already!! :)  Ok well I guess that's it for today.... Have fun on this wonderful day of love and will see you all soon! Hugs!

260: Who expected this to happen??

Well not me! Check this out...

Yeah I'm now part of the wonderful creative genius'  team over at After 5 designs!! Are you kidding me...ME?? a site team member for after 5!! Woohoo...really I'm still in total awe and so freakin' honored! This has been a dream since the site openend and I just can't believe it they picked me! Yeah! :)

After this sad week I really needed something to cheer me up and this was it... Although I am kind of worried right now! Last night my guy went over to see his little brother (24 yrs. old), to get the keys from the van. He uses the van for this job today, but... His little brother is no where to find! He called him several times and so did I, but he's not picking up. They already went to the police last night, to check if maybe he got arrested... You just never know! But really I have no clue what to do or where to go find him. This sucks and thought you had it all last week...

Now I'm quickly going to show you my pages I did last week and then I'm off to my SIL and see if we can do anything to find my BIL...

259: I long for spring!!!

Anyone else here?? I'm getting tired of it being so freakin cold and just want to sun. It has been shining the past two days when I got up and it made me feel so much better. It is still cold, like 2 degrees or something, but not freezing anymore!

Project 365 is going great, I made it through January and now on the Feb. :) It does take up a lot more time then I expected and well this pitty old blog is getting kind of neglected. I told myself to post here at least once a week. Well I'm way pass that this time and as you can see I'm still wearing my 'happy new year' header... Hold on, going to make a new one right away! There you go...all spring/summery! Now bring on srping! :)

Last night I went out to diner with colleagues and had a great time..you can read all about it and see photos on my 365 blog! :) Today we're going to clean out the shed. Last week we did two rooms in the house and now it's time for the shed. Cause it's a complete mess and you could say a bomb exploded there. Last Sunday we threw away 3 garbage bags full with things we don't use anymore and don't want to keep. All other things we put in away in boxes and then there's a huge pile of stuff we want to sell. We're going to a flea market on Feb 22nd and hope we can leave everything behind there that isn't sold! LOL I know there are lots of things in the shed we need to throw away and well also lots of things we can sell! Since we're looking to buy our house, I want everything to be gone by then. By then the only thing we need to move are boxes and kind of like the idea. And well the cleaning out felt great!!

Then a page about me and my camera...love how this turned out and as soon as I saw Paislee press' new kit called: photogenic, I knew it would be perfect. Yesterday this page got mentioned in the GSO thread at DST!

258: lots of everything!!

Ok I have to say I feel lots better after blowing my nose in 3 tissue boxes, drank a half bottle of couch syrup, sprayed one bottle of nose spray and steamd with dampo! LOL I did stayed home from work yesterday since I wasn't all that good on thursday, but steaming really, really helped me! So I'm finally beginning to feel better! This flu has taking over a week and I'm so ready to feel like the old, healthy me! :)

Today's I've got lots of things I wanna show you. let's begin with some Micheline Martine news. She decided to resign from designing for now, since is way too busy with her family and work and needs a break. She is keeping her store open for the future... After we got that news, like two days later she send an email..she made a new kit! I didn't think we were going to hear from her soon, but yeah!!! So I made a page for her, and as working with that kit I loved it and decided to make an album with it! Wanna see?

Yesterday I was kind of bored since both DST and A5D were down...yeah my fav. laces of them all! So made this album and also created several pages with new kits. here's one with Holly's new kit ' heart strings', it's our little niece Dina...Will post this to DST in a bit.

Then another page including this little cutie, made with Kasia's new kit: 'whimsical poetry'...

Then catherine designs also has a new kit called:' winter retreat' and just had to buy it... At after 5 designs, we started a social RAk group, where we get to share our photos. It's so much fun and I can tell you I already used a lot of those..This page is again for Sarah (my3hens) and her beautiful girl! Oh and I just noticed it got placed in the gallery standouts thread a DST, yoohoo! :)

I also got a few pages from this last week... I just didn't feel like blogging at al. Well except on my 'project 365' blog! :)

Ok another RAK and this time it's for Chantal, made with Kristen's new kit called: 'Beloved' ...isn't this cute! :)

Then one last RAK for today, made for shayenne and her beautiful girl Lara, also with a new kit by Faith True called: 'moonlit angel'...

So that makes 9 pages in 6 days...oh and of course the 8 page quick page album, So glad that flu thing didn't stole my mojo! Ok just checked my gallery and made a total of (including the ones I haven't posted yet!) 28 LO's for the month of january and we're not even there yet! Wooho, I think that's a month record! LOL... I just love to scrap and this new PC really helps..this way I DO get to spend some quality time with my guy! LOL :)

So today we need to do grocery shopping, since I haven't been in three weeks. Well I did got some small goodies during the weeks, but no big ones! And I checked the supply closet and it's getting empty. Threw away a lot of thing yesterday wich were over due, some of them even over a year! LOL I need to check that more often! LOL... Also going over to my parents, cause I haven't seen them in almost 2 weeks! My dad and Abdel had some kind of secret phone call last night ad they have a suprise for me... So I'm sooo curious what it's going to be... I hate suprises! LOL Simply because of the fact I always think of the biggest things..but then maybe it;'s just a small thing. I'm affraid I won't like it or think it was bigger in my mind and will be disappointed when I see it.. LOL, yeah I'm silly!!

257: I feel yucky!!

Yeah I've caught the flu...on the news they said that these two upcoming weeks are always running a flu epidemic. It so sucks and really feel like crap! When I was a work on Friday my thraot started to feel sore and well I haven't left the house since I came home. I do really have to go to work tomorrow since my colleague is off and I have to work with a substitude! I really hope she is good and she can help me get through the day. If I still feel like today I hope someone can fill in for me, but it has to be someone that is formiliar with my group of kids. I'm glad we don't have any baby's tomorrow, the youngest one is 20 months, so that's a good thing!

I did managed to scrap two pages in between laying on the couch and watching tv. I just had to scrap a little... First of this one I made for tomorrow new challenge at the Weeds & wildflowers blog, so make sure to check it out...Then, this is my younger cousin Sylvia when she was like 1,5 - photo is taken in 1985. I love this cute little outfit and photo...Made this page with 'sweet melody' a beautiful new kit by Jofia designs...

Last night I was supposed to have a going away party for one of the girls from soccer, since she's going to New Zealand for six months. But I didn't felt too good to go there...

Today I had a meeting with a happy couple that's going to be married in June... Oh right, didn't told you ladies yet. On Tuesday my mom called and before I knew it she gave the phone to her colleague. She asked me if I wanted to be the photographer on their big day. My second wedding and I'm still so excited!! We were supposed to talk things through today, but just too sick to go. So I made a new appointment for Friday. The fun thing is..their wedding is on June 27th, same date as my first wedding last year! :)

So nothing else excited to tell you peeps, so I'm going to lay down for a bit...my battery is running slow again! Have a great Sunday! Hugs!

256: had a nice lunch!

So I just had a sweet lunch WITH my guy... He needed to get something at the twon-hall. He called be when he was done there and brought over some yummy rolls. We had lunch together and he just went back to work. He never comes home for lunch, so this was great! :)

My project 365 is going great and haven't missed a day so far! Also didn't cheated with using older photos... LOL. I'm loving it and this week is all about me. But to be honest it's a little harder then I expected. So today I'm going to post a photo about my work space.

This week softball practice started again, it's great to get started again, but I hate the indoor thing. The place isn't that big and we have to use incrediballs. Wich are soft and well they make sure no one gets hurt badly! Goes to normal balls are the dangerous is such a small place... So I'm glad when the outdoor practice starts in March.

Today I've got a three pages for you, wanted to post them all but DST is so freakishly slow today it sucks!! Really, after commenting on a page or anything it takes forever to load, with ending up having a 'server to busy' message...so only posted one so far. Two pages are with a fab new colab kit by two of my CT's Kristen Rice & Amanda resende called: 'free spirit', check out the kit and it's great colors... here are my pages with it... Then I also made this page this morning..it's with a new kit by Dawn, createwings designs and just had to have it! She also has a lovely freebie to go with it on her blog!  Well that's it for today...I really have go to make my photo for project 365 and need to clean around here. 255: Ice fun!

yeah it's still freezing and that means ice-skating!! I already went yesterday with my lil brother, our cousin and one of his little friends and went to my GM's birthday after worths... So I just called my mom cause she said she's going ice-skating today...well I gotta see that! LOL I think it's been like 5 years since she has last ice-skating... My dad is also going to try, but he must be careful with his shoulder and all. If he falls that would be very tragic and well I don't want him to hurt himself. And to be honest I hope I can talk him out of it! So just put bread rolls in the oven and then I need to shower and get dressed...

254: title??

Yeah sorry, no idea for a title today! Probably because I have to come up with a title everyday for my 'project 365' blog, LOL. Sp today it's already thursday, only one more day of work tomorrow and then it's weekend already.

Hey but thursday...that means I made it through the first week of 'project 365'!!! Woohoo and I'm so proud at myself and anyone who made it! I decided to make an album at the end of the year with all weekly pages. I'm going to start my week on Sunday...wich means I already finished my week one page, Yes I DID!!!I made this page with a new kit by Kristen Rice..she had created a huge stunning 'project 365' kit and template set and they rock. So of course I had to use them. Will have to see if this is the kit I'm going to make my complete album with...or if I'm going with 2 page colors/kits, not sure!

Then I've got some other pages to show you... First of this page of my colleague Lista and her sweet baby girl Anouk. I took this photo when Anouk was 2,5 weeks old. Such a precious photo...I used a beautiful new kit by NewLifeDreams: the invisible world, available tomorrow at her SPD shoppe! Then another page... last week I got RAK-ed a GC by MK designs and well I'm glad I waited, cause today I found a new kit in her store called: 'thoughts'. The colors are fab and the elements are amazing as in all her beautiful kits! :) This is a RAK for Gabi (gachal)

Then before I'm heading out of here to shower and get grocery's I just have to share that I reached my first goal in 2009!!!!! This morning I posted my 10.000th post at DST! How cool is that...LOL. I just thought it would be funny to share! :)
